Romance / My Husband Cannot Sexually Satisfy Me by LOVE24ME: 2:48pm On Oct 24, 2018
A housewife, Hauwa Adamu , on Wednesday begged a Mararaba Upper Area Court, Nasarawa State, to dissolve her marriage to Isyaku Na’Allah, over alleged inability to sexually satisfy her.

Hauwa told the court that her husband has never satisfied her sexually, and only “lasts for two minutes on top of her.’’ She said that she married him under the Islamic rights and the union did not produce any child.

Hauwa also alleged that Na’Allah always accused her of aborting their baby whenever she conceives, an accusation she denied. Hauwa said that their childlessness was as a result of Na’Allah’s lack of “sexual performance.’’

She told the court that she was no longer interested in the marriage and begged the court to dissolve it. Hauwa added that she would return the Sadaq (dowry) the respondent paid on her.

The respondent, Na’Allah, however, denied the allegations. The judge, Mr Ibrahim Shekarau, adjourned the case until Oct. 29 to allow the parties settle out of court.

Politics / Ibrahim Shekarau Back In Court Over N900m Money Laundering Charges by LOVE24ME: 1:13pm On Oct 18, 2018
The Federal High Court sitting in Kano on Thursday adjourned the case of alleged money laundering against former governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau.

Shekarau was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) alongside former external affairs minister Aminu Wali and one Mansur Ahmad on a six-count charge bordering on conspiracy and money laundering to the tune of N950 million.

When the case came up for hearing, the judge, Lewis Allagoa, who just assumed duty at the court, adjourned the trial till November 19, 20, and 21.

The judge replaced Justice Zainab Bage who was transferred.

Counsel to the EFCC, Johnson Ojogbane, had earlier told the court that the defendants, between March 26 and 27, 2015, conspired among themselves and received the said amount without going through financial institutions.

He said that the money was issued to the defendants by the People’s Democratic Party and former petroleum minister Diezani Allison-Madueke.

The prosecutor said that the offences contravened sections 18 (a) of the Money Laundering (prohibition) Act 2011 as amended and punishable under section 16 (2)(b) of the same Act and Section 15(1) of money laundering Act.

The trio had pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Before the adjournment, the defence counsel, Jibrin Okutekpa (SAN) prayed that the court to extend the bail granted to his clients by the former judge in line with Section 163 of the Criminal Justice Act 2015.

The judge acceded to the request to extend the bail before adjourning to November 19, 20, and 21 for continuation of the trial.

NEWSMEN recalls that Mr Bage had granted the defendants bail in the sum of N100 million each, with two reliable sureties in like sum.

Politics / EFCC Obtains Court Order EXPOSED How Many Days Fayose Is To Be Detained by LOVE24ME: 11:26am On Oct 18, 2018
@mynationpress

There is a report that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has obtained a remand order from a Federal Capital Territory High Court to keep former Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State for two weeks.

The Punch reports that the remand order is subject to renewal which implies that Fayose could spend longer than two weeks in custody.

It quoted a source as saying: “We have obtained a court order to hold Fayose for at least two weeks pending investigation. He could be released earlier or later than two weeks depending on the outcome of the investigation.”

Fayose is under probe for allegedly receiving N1.3bn from the Office of the National Security Adviser through a former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, during the build-up to the 2014 governorship election in Ekiti State.

However, sources within the commission revealed that Fayose was also under probe for allegedly receiving kickbacks from government contractors through his aide, Abiodun Agbele, who is currently standing trial for fraud.

“We have many cases against Fayose being handled by three different teams. We cannot just arraign him immediately. We want to do a thorough job before taking him to court,” the EFCC source said.

Politics / EFCC Releases Pictures Of Properties Owned By Fayose (FULL LIST) by LOVE24ME: 10:04am On Oct 18, 2018
@mynationpress

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released photos showing properties allegedly owned by the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose.

The spokesman for the Commission, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, sent copies of the pictures to mynationnews.com on Wednesday.

According to him, the properties were uncovered while the anti-graft agency was investigating the allegations of corruption against the former governor.

He alleged that Mr Fayose purchased the property with the money he purportedly received from the office of the former National Security Adviser, Retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki.

“In the course of investigating corruption allegations against ex-governor Ayodele Fayose, especially the N1.3billion which he collected from the office of the National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki, the Commission unearthed evidence that he laundered the funds into the acquisition of properties in choice locations in Abuja and Lagos,” Mr Wilson alleged.

The EFCC released the pictures a day after the former governor arrived at its head office in Abuja, in company with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and a former minister, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, among other well-wishers.
