Sugar causes kidney damage? nedekid:
Oga eat normal foods, reduce meat, poultry if you must, eat the chicken breast. Generally food that with create less creatinine. Healthy protein could be gotten from Eg beans ie plant protein, not the one from red meat. If possible, don't put salt on your food, at best very little. Eg I do not season my eggs with salt, rather garlic powder, pepper, curry. Salt is a major destroyer. Next thing is sugar. Avoid carbonated drinks aka minerals. That one na major killer of kidneys, beers, spirits etc all contain lots of sugar. I stopped alcohol 1.8 years ago, guess what, I use to be 117kg, today I am 94kg, just by eating and drinking changes. No exercise! Drink plenty of water, me I drink atleast 6 bottles daily minimum. The only challenge I have is cigarettes. Once I overcome that I will be a lot better. Nb: guys also check for uti ie urinary tract infections. That one too na kidney killer. |

Pls, can you mention examples of red meat? Eleohjo: Red meat is packed with essential nutrients like protein, iron, B vitamins, and healthy fats that fuel your body and support overall health. Despite what some studies claim, much of the research linking red meat to health issues is flawed or biased. Choosing high-quality, grass-fed red meat is not only nutritious but an important part of a balanced diet. Don't let the fear of red meat keep you from enjoying its health benefits! 🥩💪

Does this theory, works with all fridges? Sellfish:
D light wey e no chop when u off am, e go chop am when u on am because the compressor will run continuously until desired temp is attained
Meanwhile a fridge that's left on will consume very little power when it reaches desired temp, because compressor will only be cycling on for a very short duration |

Solar plus inverter, abi? Focusmind: Invest in Solar instead of paying the huge Band A bills
My solar saves me nothing less than 35k monthly. My recharge is around 20k for NEPA consumption. If I was not using solar, I should be spending close to 60k monthly on bills. IKEDC Band A bill na die, but they are doing well. They have been consistent with the minimum of 20hrs light in a day |
Politics / Re: “Please NEPA Remove My Family From Band A” — Anambra Man Cries Out(vid) by Love800(m): 3:23pm On Oct 02 |
I don't understand this thing you just type. Are you saying that putting the fridge on, will not lead to more consumption? Sellfish:
Bullshit
A fridge that's always on will consume less power when it's cold enough for its compressor thermostat to cycle off...
For example, my own refrigerator when it becomes cold enough, its compressor shuts off for 40 minutes and turns on for 15 minutes
But if you switch the fridge off, the compressor will run continuously to replenish the chill, thereby consuming more power

Exactly I’m on band A.i use nepa for just 3hrs daily.7-10pm to power my batteries.all through the day I use my solar. So solar gives me 21hrs light then nepa gives me 3hrs.I am fine with not paying more than 30k bill monthly. If u don’t have solar on BandA u will die |

Okay. But pls are you serious about the fart? So is human fart that generate light for us? SmartyPants:
Oh, the difference is huge. Hyrdoelectrictiy refers to the generation of electricity using water-based sources, typically by powering turbines using a dam. It's a potentially complex process. Now, gas, on the other hand, is fart - what Nigerians call mess. The proper name for this is natural gas. When enough Nigerians fart, which we do a lot, (trust me 200 million people farting up the place daily no be beans -- well, yes eating lots of beans can help). So as I was saying, this fart is collected by the federal government and compressed. I'm sure you have being hearing about the government's CNG conversion program. This CNG stands for compressed natural gas, or in simple terms, compressed fart. It is highly flammable and can be used to generated electricty. |
