If not, you can just take it back to the person, he know what to do.
The issue might be fingerprint flex, may be damaged, don’t try open the phone yourself, if you can’t because you might damage another thing

I use the phone for Uber/ bolt hustling, because the two apps is battering draining I have to plug it to car charger. So yesterday when I checked the battery life it has dropped to 89%. So I want to ask how best can one maintain an iPhone battery and how much can I get a follow come XR battery?

It is not a good idea to plug phone all time, once charge your phone 100% unplug the charger, you can charge it again once you use it less than 10%, don’t use it while you plug the phone, if possible avoid power bank and car charger
