They can't issue you ppr on medicals that is expiring in 2 weeks time.

Canada , Alberta pr applicant and this us my first application. Time line is as follows :
Submitted application on: 25th sept
Medicals : 18 sept
Biometric:5th jan

Invitation to pr portal: 25th march
Gcms notes: 30th march
Request for renewal of police clearance certificate by ircc : 9th May
Submitted:22nd of may
And since then till now I've been waiting for ppr but nothing. Have written several times to ircc but no response.
I feel like there's a delay or something, and in 2 weeks from now my medicals will expire..... I don't want a long wait again. This is almost a year I applied
Some one pls help cuz I'm kinda confused

The biometric slip which was given to me when I did my biometrics is missing. And I hear that it is part of e list of documents needed to submit passport..... and i don't know.... will it cause a problem?
I have the biometric number but not the slip its self... will it be useful?

Buh I mean compared to other threads I read here they hv very short timelines.... some take even up to a month .
Well I understand its normal for pple timeline not to be the same. My worry is I don't want my medicals to expire before they send ppr...... if not that will be another stress �

Hi everyone one.
Pls i.have something to share and need some help. Am a Canadian pr applicant and applied in September 2021. Did biometrics in January 2022 and got approved and confirmed my pr application at the ircc portal in March , and from there I begun waiting for ppr. In April I asked for GCMS notes and everything was passed except criminality review which is still in progress.
In May I was asked to resend my police clearance certificate cuz the one I submitted before had expired...... So the stress started ..... from the way naija is it took me 3 weeks to get my pcc with constant back and forth procedures. So immediately I got it, I sent it to ircc and 2 days later, they sent me a mail saying they recieved it . But up till now no ppr.
I don't know what to do, the wait is so frustrating I don't know if they've actually received the document I sent or maybe is a ghost update...... I really don't know. I've got school starting in September n am still here not even sure if I'll leave before September...... This is alrdy the 10 month since I applied very soon it'll be 1 yr

And from there I immediately sent to to ircc , two days after I got a mail that they recieved. And I thought from there they will immediately request for my passport. But it's taking so longggg.
I feel lyk they've not received it . I hv school which starts in September

If you're talking about the confirmation of permanence residence online, it is for an inside Canada applicant. Since they requested your passport after completing the portal, I assume you correctly answered that you are outside Canada. If that’s the case, don’t worry your PRV will eventually arrive; they are currently dealing with backlogs of PR applications.

Hello guys. Am facing some delays in my immigration process to Canada which is quite disturbing. I was invited to portal email to confirm my PR status on the 25th march. And it was approved on the 30 march. And the next step was for e ircc to send me a passport request letter, but since then NOTHING.
Pls can someone help me with this.

Biometric collection: 05 Jan 2022
Updated: 27 Jan 2022
PR portal confirmation: 25 march
Updated : 30 march
Since then I've been waiting for ppr but it seems to be taking longer as compared to other people 's timeline which usually takes a day for ppr after portal confirmation.
So how soon can I get a ppr letter?
