I'm an IT professional but I have always believed that we as human beings with our gift of opposable thumbs just need to apply ourselves sometimes. So with books, tools and being attentive when more seasoned folks I have managed to learn quite a bit.[/Nobody] where are sir? just getting to know of this DIYfers on this forum and now you are no where to be found. |

Politics / Re: Abuja Natives Decry Omission From Ministerial List by MacxD: 5:54pm On Oct 13, 2015 |
@blackpanda. You are wrong. Every state and the FCT deserve a minister. You talk about money when it comes to representation, but its not always about that money for some people. And yes we have been hearing some of their representatives doing what they were elected to do. For the local governments its a structural problem. So pls give them a break. Until you have local government autonomy things will not change. The state governors and the minister of FCT are in complete control of the monies that come from the FG. There hands are tied if you really want to look at things objectively. The only right thing to do here is to give them a minister. you are quite insensitive to their plight. These people do not enjoy the right to elect a governor or state house of reps. And their representative in the senate is only one. Other states got 3 many members of reps. how much can they do? |

ThisisBuhari: Yes we are Proud of Abuja and it is the centre of unity for our country. However, you are wrong with your 2nd statement. There are natives of Abuja. Their tribes in the order of population include: The Gbagyi's, the gwandara's, the Gade's and Baha. It will be good for us to appreciate what any group bring to the table of our country. the South-South brings oil and a wonderful coastal line for our maritime business. South west brings a wonderful coastal line too. The north brings land and Solid minerals. South- East brings commerce and manufacturing. etc. Lets always respect one another. May God Bless Nigeria! |
