And aside the Attestation D'Accueil, will the person inviting me have to write a letter too? (I never had to get a letter for applic's from the UK). How important does this letter have to be?

Sometimes i have all these activities (places i want to see, events/shows, travel, movies, hangout, and so on) planned out, but my friends may not be up for it or just not able to due to work and co. so i end up missing out just because i cant go all by myself.
