Twas God... I had 3 names on my certificate nd just 2 on my passport ...to make things worse the name on my certificate was mis spelled one alphabet was omitted nd dat was d name on my passport same......even my bank acc statement has just my name and surname but all other docs aside my passport has my 3 names.... that was d big fear.,., but it all came out well.......now studying @university of Sunderland London campus.....great sch... loving every moment....but the cold here even in spring dey freeze me....I wonder how I wud cope during winter. Is the name on your passport Ok*** Ch*** Vero***? If so, there wont be a problem. It's a clear indication that its shortened for Veronica. And i hope Veronica is your middle name

I'm not a guru like known names on here, but maybe this is useful. If ifeanyichukwu, augustine is in your birth certificate, you can include your birth cert to show your other given names. Augustine seems to be your middle name and ifeanyi and chukwu seems to be the same as pronounced a full name ifeanyichukwu. It's not a crime if you don't include a middle name on your waec and the same goes for your bank statement. You can write a note as an additional information saying your names are M(SURNAME) A(MIDDLE NAME) Ifea(FIRST NAME) but because your first name is rather too long and mostly confused as 2 different names, so you have shortened it as Ifeanyi. So i would suggest you go with the name as you have it on your passport on your visa application.

I like to share a story with people who might be in the same shoes...

1. For those having an error with dob on waec, please make a sworn affidavits(mine is from a magistrate court, i have read on this forum with people using one from high court which is good as well) to back up the error and you can also include a birth certificate as i did in my application(But make sure names on the birth cert will tally with your name, name of mother and father on application) or else leave it out.

2. As you know, application is done online and not a paper application now. Make sure you fill your application correctly and please do not lie on your application as i have been denied 3 times from different countries, uk and 2 other countries but i made sure i stated on my application of my previous refusals.

3. For those who dont have their official score report from toefl or ielts. Just make a cover page with the username and password, and the online score printed out. I did mine like that since i didnt receive my score report before my application.

4. I made an hand written note as an additional information to state the issue of my waec and toefl.

5. I also included a typed personal statement, this clearly shows my tie to my country, what i intend doing after studies and how i could benefit from studying in the UK. (Some people dont include it, but it could be an add up to your application)

4. In my CAS, only my notification of result (OND) and toefl was stated as basis of admission, but i submitted my everything from secondary school testimonial, waec, hnd, ond. But i have read on this forum just to submit only what is stated in your CAS, so whichever way its fine.

5. I paid for sms as i guess it's compulsory but i never got any sms, but i made sure i tracked it online and it was fully updated, don't forget to check on saturday or sunday to get the update.

6. But i dont know if this is their new policy, everything i submitted including the photocopies made, the ukba application and all documents was returned back to me.

N.B: Above all, please fast and pray so GOD can lay his hands on your application and your visa will be granted. I submitted exactly 30 days after my bank statement print out (I wont advise you to do so,mine was just a delay)got my visa 9 working days because there was an holiday on labour day which would have made it 10 working days. So if GOD did mine with some errors, he can do yours even more abundantly. GOD IS GREAT!!!

The person with that score omitted a case study included in the entrance, so i guess that was the reason he did not get accepted. It was stated that he missed a compulsory question. Well all has been done, lets just pray for the best right now, Signing out!

@ overlook, have u forgotten most of us never thought of the accommodation, the place of the exam is a direct and easy place to get by. For those travelling on the 10th, I believe you should still make it on registration by 7:30 on the 11th. Everyone from west africa is to register in ghana, so not all of us will register 7:30am on the dot. If there is an accommodation, well some can leave on the 7th.

Well that was me in infostrides, I have known this stuffs way back 2002 even when toefl wasn't needed. I once got an invitation from lahti back in the days but was unable to write the exam cos no such thing as finnip. My cousin who applied to kemi-tornio then, was lucky to have written his entrance in british council and got accepted at jamk and in final semester now.I guess u all know u have to booked for ticket ahead before travel date ooo, as for me I will be on cross country if much money, will fly.

I believe ghana is 10hours and u should also bear in mind that border area slows bus down. What's your email,I think I have what is believed to be maths sample questions for the IT student but I believe you should also explore other areas. The bus should leave in the early morning.
