Ladies and Gentlement, Higher education is not a joke. It requires huge funding to provide for quality education. However, it is not enough for the government to say "it will not go back to the old school fees regime". the question is what has the government done to ameliorate the present situation. Are there scholarships or are student able to source for loans to go to school as it is done in the US? Even if you increase the school fees and students or their parents can secure access to funding, that will not be a problem, in the US for instance, my school fees was increased from USD46,000 to USD48,000 ; about N300,000. Yet the ppple did not take to the streets because there are student loans, scholarships and other sources of funding to assist in pursuing one's dream.

Our government should begin to think towards this direction. however many nigerian school can boast of scholars? how many nigerians even give out scholras to indigent students? it is also sad that our banks are willing to provide loan for overseas education yet they cannot provide students with loans for local education. It is a sad experience.

I dont believe that it is difficult to make first in both Uni and Law School. also your statistics may not be correct about the total number of students that have graduated with First in both ways.
