I found an informations a minute ago that Caterpillar Is Going to Open A New Excavator Component Factory <- click. Do you think, that business based on importing parts is a good idea?

I would like also ask, about one machine from category with construction equipment in USA (all machines, not only Caterpillar) - Gehl 5240E. It's also available in US - 2008, 150 hours - price -  29,500 USD. Do you think it's good price?

What would be the cost of shipping of such machine? (Cat or Gehl) And would you recommend, which is better? I know that CAT, but Gehl might be cheaper.
