I never took airdrops (free tokens) so seriously until recently when I had over 500 free tokens from PowerLedger. At one point, that was over $1k

Now, the Havven Airdrop Campaign is live. All you need is fill the form and get free tokens to be traded on exchanges.

He does have a point though it's a good time to invest in the NSE with as low as 35k you can find a good broker that will put you through although you go pay some kind fees but its worth it till you know your way around the market
Safe bets are FMCG companies except for cadbury, also transcorp try small but you will have to play the long game so just tell your money "see you in 8months time" minimum that kind thing

What is wrong with Cadbury stock?

They truly sold out our future....But we're wise now... We'll correct this mistake...

We will look for a visionary, planner, executor and a vibrant man!

Who will that be? Let's be honest with ourselves it will be either PDP or APC. Any presidential candidate that is not in PDP or APC will not win the presidency in Nigeria.

LordAdam16:

Mate don't blame Nigerians solely.

The power issue is everyone's fault.

And privatization is best for that sector, else na d same refinery drama go continue for that sector.

The NIPP was designed by Obasanjo to add about 4000MW. Till date the government has been expended over $20b on that project, we are just over 60% completion. China spent $25b on a 22,000MW plant.

Next year, it'd be 15 years since the 4000MW project was conceived. China finished their 22,000MW project in 9 years.

So tell me why GEJ shouldn't have privatized power? If you have goats in a barn, you don't store yam there. Common sense.

Buhari who thought he could store yam in a barn where goats are, are the goats not making him look st*pid?

The power sector is hopeless. Let's just fix the metering issue and complete ongoing generating plant projects, and then take stock.

Nigeria does not even have the money to fix the power problem. That $15b you said would only generate 9000 MW at best (that's without corruption). Generate only. Transmission and distribution is out of the picture. And it's not enough for Lagos. It's not even up to 10% of the demand of manufacturers right now.

Yet our budget, as huge as it is is no more than $30b. And at least $21b of that money is for recurrent expenditure. The remaining $9b is for power, housing, roads, security, education... And we can't even balance our books, so in reality, we never really get up to $9b for those things.

The problem I can point out about power is that everyone avoids stating the ugly facts. Politicians continue to sell hope, because let's face it, who'd vote for the person who says our power issue can't be solved in next 4 years (people would just assume he's not ready to do anything). The people want a miracle worker. The business men and civil servants don't give a f*ck, there's free money to be had.
-Lord

In as much as I agree with most of what you have said, I don't agree with the "don't blame Nigerians" phrase. If we don't blame ourselves for our failures, then who we go come blame? People want a miracle worker but if you attempt to cover loopholes for corruption Nigerians will descend on you like pirhanas for taking away their daily bread. The moral compass of Nigerians is broken and it needs to be fixed before we can move forward.

For once you Nigerians should stop blaming poor power supply on some amorphous body called our 'leaders'.

Power, both at generation and distribution has been in private hands since 2014. GEJ offered you guys the chance to say no to privatization, and you all kept quiet.

Second, we need billions of dollars to guarantee 24/7 light. We need investments upward of 15bn USD for the next few years to fix transmission, fix power generation, etc.

And the fact is, even at full capacity, 7000mw is not going to give Nigeria light 24/7....when Lagos town needs 10000MW alone.

Finally, we Nigerians aggravate the problem by not paying our bills , by bypassing the prepaid meters, by chasing DISCO officers when they come to enforce bill payment, by bribing DISCO guys too. How can you get servicies you are not paying for? Yes, govt agencies are guilty of same, but so are millions of Nigerians.

And the bills we pay aren't even enough. And we are not even earning enough from oil..we need oil to be at $139 per barrel to have a budget free from borrowing.....to fund power.

So, if you want to blame govt for power..go ahead. Blame yourself too.

P.S...Blowing up the dams won't make a difference....it would only make things worse....drives away investors, plus we would have to take a big fat loan to fix things.
This is a snippet summary of our power issues, but as usual we Nigerians no go agree with the above assessment of our power problems. How does blowing up hydroelectric dams help resolve Nigeria's power issues??
