Osogbo isn't that expensive to live actually... Just have a source of income and you re good to go, if you have a means of transportation (like a car of your own/ bike). It will reduce the cost of tp from moving here and Dre. The house rent is affordable at least..

Not advisable. It is majorly designed for tourists but if you have a degree related to hospitality and tourism, you may want to give it a shot by applying for a diploma program in culinary related skills.

Mrsoft3:

You see from scriptures we didn't see anybody who divorced and re married, this has made it hard for us Christians to comment on issues as this.

But I strongly want to believe what is not of God will never stand
How about Micah ,king David's wife?
Religion / Re: God Hates Divorce But What Do You Do When One Party Walks Out Of A Marriage? by Marimart: 9:43am On Mar 27, 2022
Ammishaddai:
Bros , the conditions for divorce has been stipulated for in the bible and we dont need to debate this matter further .

See what the bible says in Matt 19:9 :

And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery

From the bolded , it is clear that divorce is impossible and no matter the condition or circumstances, a man or woman is not permitted to have a divorce, and even if he should have a divorce, he/she cannot marry because that will be judged as adultery.
You didn't even explain it well

Uprightness100:
We as Humans need to understand some Foundational Principles of Life and in our relationship with GOD ALMIGHTY, our Creator.

THE WORD of GOD is UNCHANGEABLE.
Heaven and Earth will pass away, but the Word of GOD remains. GOD will not Change because of a Changing World.

EVERYONE of us WILL STAND before GOD on a " SOLO LEVEL" to RENDER ACCOUNT to GOD.
Husband and wife will not stand together,
Twins will not stand together,
Culture, religion, belief, technology, etc will not Matter. The Word of GOD is the Standard.

No Matter what happens to you , be the one to Obey the Word of GOD.
If your Hubby or wifey decides to walk away or goes to marry someone else. As one who Fears GOD, it's your cross to carry. You go to GOD in Prayers and seek his face for your partner to return. That is the Reason why you are advised to Earnestly seek GOD'S Face for HIS Choice before you enter into Marriage.

If he/she returns , Praise GOD! If he/she does not return, Praise GOD. Marriage is not a condition to make Heaven.

Obedience to GOD and HIS Word is what is Paramount.
According to GOD'S Word, Only Death Permits a Man/ woman to remarry.
How about infidelity?

Hi,
I am currently on critical skills visa and applied for my husband in June 2021, the visa got rejected after 6 months. We have just put in an appeal and hoping for the best.
Spoke with someone here in similar circumstances and he said after over one year of submitting an appeal, he still hasn’t heard back from the embassy.
The whole process just isn’t fair nor transparent, it’s shocking!
Please how did you apply for your critical visa?

I'm currently on the Critical Skills permit and my wife applied for her Join Family Visa in September 2021. It's been 6 months of regular emails and 'still pending' replies and we are frustrated. I wonder if anyone has received their Join Family visas recently, and how long theirs took?
Hello sir, please what are the steps and criteria for obtaining the critical visa?
Thanks.

I'm not sure about France visa but here's some interesting information I've found:
If you are from a country that requires you to apply for a visa for Mexico, you do not need one if you already have a valid Schengen visa or a valid visa for:

The United States
Canada
Japan
The United Kingdom

Also there must be agencies that can give you all the information on documents, timings and prices, did you google agencies?

I didn't check any of the agencies because bi want to do it myself, pls tell me more about the place and the opportunity over there, thanks.

True the problem is that the western media have told so many lies about Mexico, I watched one movie and I saw the true Mexico it was beautiful, if you watch that movie you would see the real Mexico not what we see on fake news CNN and yes many Americans companies are in Mexico and some of the main reasons why I could not go To Mexico was because on a Mexican thread on nairaland they said they deport people flying in from South America and I could not get a transit visa from one of those western countries.
What's the name of the movie?

Yes in essence France Visa is a Schengen visa so yeah you can use it to enter mexico.

There are 26 countries that make up the Schengen zone so if you have any of those countries visa you can enter mexico.

Is this clear now?
Wow,even if the France visa is a tourist one?
Now when one enters mexico with the visa, how do one legalize one's stay?
Would really need to talk more with you on this,I sent you a dm

Yes we can not over emphasize this to enter Mecico you don’t necessarily need a Mexican visa. Infact they are not even issuing visa in Nigeria as it stands. You can still enter the country if you have a USA visa, Canada visa, Uk visa, Schengen visa or a Japan visa.
So you see the options are enormous.

Hope you are clear now.
Not quite dear,if I get you clearly, are you saying that one can use France visa to enter mexico?
How?
Can you throw more light on that please, don't mind my ignorance on this.

Travel / Re: Relocating To Abuja To Start Afresh by Marimart: 11:11am On Mar 09, 2022
someguyy:
My main goal here is to gather as many useful information as possible so I would be grateful if y’all drop one or two points for me.

A little story:

I’m a 23 years old guy seeking to get out of his comfort zone to start afresh all over again and not afraid of making good mistakes.

I finished from a fed university 3 years ago and one of the best decisions I made for myself was moving away from Lagos. At first, I moved back to Lagos for my NYSC, I was able to find a way around wasting away at some secondary school teaching some God knows what subject. Since I’m into tech, I was able to get a small pay job somewhere in Yaba but that lasted only 3 months. It was so stressful that I had to wake up 6am and return home 11pm. This made me to quickly realize that Lagos isn’t for me so I decided to redeploy my NYSC back to the state I schooled and left my job.

It wasn’t the easiest thing to do but I was convinced this would ease things for me and, since I freelance and work remotely for a US tech company, there are no barriers to where I can/should live. I got the us gig while still in the university and only decided to go for the Yaba job since the US gig wasnt like a full time and I wasn’t making any money for some months plus I needed a way to assure my parents I wasn’t into fraud then so the Yaba job was a good choice even though the pay wasn’t that great and I spent like half on transportation. FYI: My Yaba pay was 45k naira in 2020.

I got lucky few weeks before I made the final move to relocate back to where I schooled, my US gig had a project in pipeline and I was the main backend developer. Payment seems fair at the point I was approached. I agreed on a flat total payment and it was supposed to be a 3months project. I was able to get a nice mini flat in a GRA for 300k, did a couple of things and everything was going fine until my us gig started skipping payments. A 3months project turned to a 10months project. it was late before I decided to repackage myself and started looking for a new contract. I’ll save you all the details because it wasn’t a very easy experience but nothing good comes easy they say.

2021, I wanted out of freelancing because of job security and started hunting for a full time job. I currently have 3, all thanks to timezone difference.

Getting here, I have tried a couple of things like building a business, investing in people and particularly, buying myself a property. Not every time one would win so I’m not mad at myself but I took several losses trying to just own my sh*t. Nevertheless, I still have a few investments but I hate to think about it.

Now, 2years gone. Main goal was to have my own personal house but the harder I tried, the more farther away I was from getting it done here. I have now decided to move on to the next adventure and since Lagos is not an option, I have decided to move to Abuja.

I earn quite well from my 3 jobs about 4-5m monthly. I’m considering quitting one of them so there would be a little drop but this is for self development because I need to take on new challenges nd learn new things.

I’m looking to spend at most 4m for this relocation. I would prefer a mini flat cos honestly I don’t need too much but I want this apartment in a veryyy nice environment. Environment free from normal people harassment, cult, or any other negative things. I have done my research and reached out to a few folks over there. I really like Maitama but that would be living far above my reach even tho I can afford it, I would be dumb to go for it. The closest to Maitama I have seen is Jahi.

I would appreciate if anyone can point one a good location. How to ease into the society easily, places to hangout and all.

Thank you and God bless
Brother ,you fit help a brother with 300k I will pay back by 3 months time, investing it into a business as man has been out of job for 10months now
