mekanta7: In terms of Study and work, Mauritius is a million times better than Northern Cyprus, Dubai and some other overhyped countries... The government tax only the employers, and their businesses. You get your salary in full without tax. Accommodation is cheap, you get thesame quality of life like in France because its a French speaking country filled with white people. Beautiful girsl lol ... All those Indian girls no fine jor 1 Like 1 Share |

mekanta7: OK guys let's continue...
I've been busy with work... it's summer, plenty jobs, we're jumping from one employer to another lol .... When you read online about mauritius, they tell you that their first language is English, but when you land in Mauritius, you will discover that their first language is French. Let's say they are bilingual. The local language is creole (broken french). Most schools in Mauritius have affiliation with schools in UK, US and Canada. Just like most products consumed in Mauritius are imported... the Island is a beautiful tourist destination.. people go to the beach as early as 9am... let us not say they go to the beach because they live just few walks to the beach. They have thousands of restaurants and hotels all beautiful.. Their bus system works perfectly fine.. free bus pass for students and elderly people.. they pay all kinds of benefits to their people. If you want to stay back in Mauritius after school, then you must start learning French from your day one. If one doesn't want to school there but wants to work, which visa should one use to migrate there? 1 Like |

MARINA49: Good evening house. I've been a silent member of this group for a sometimes now. I'm a Nigerian but reside and work in the gambia. I teach in an international school. I've just secured an admission for a 2 year PGD in strategic global business management at conestoga college for spring 2022 . I'm preparing to apply for visa soon but I don't know whether my statement of account would be adequate to pull me through as I am going to sponsor my self. I got CAD24,000 in my personal account, please note that I have paid first semester tuition. I'm using my dad as support and he equally got about CAD 12,000 in his own account. Do you think those statements will be enough to take me through as per proof of fund sufficiency? Experts should please analyse and tell me If I have any chance. Patiently waiting for your responses. Hello brother, greetings to you, please I'd like to know more about teaching job in Gambia, accommodation, living cost, salary range and general life there, thanks. |

No hostility. Just be your self, be good. I met some Ghanaians and they were very friendly to me. Ghana is expensive actually, especially Accra. Once u earn in dollars, u will be fine. It is peaceful with stable electricity and massive room for investment. It is actually the best place in West Africa. Try go to Takoradi, you will be happy you did. |

Ashirioluwa: Your 3 million is about $5000 so you will only be left with around $3k when you remove ticket fares and the mandatory Covid tests.
Don’t waste your money unless you have a reliable family or friend over there who can support you until you able to get under the table job to do. Bro it is very difficult to relocate abroad these days with tourist visa unless luck is on your side. Which country is he?
Please don’t get me wrong because I know some people still do it. My junior one just relocated about 6 months ago and is doing good compared to when he was in Naija. He has saved over 750k naira since he relocated. I believe he is able to do this because he has friend to accommodate him for close to 2 months before he gets himself together. Now he lives on his own by renting a room from someone.
Another way is to use school to relocate. Which country is he? |

Trustmeall: It will be better to take a flight to the Gambia.
This is because it's a bit far. I once travelled to the Gambia by road and it took me about 6 days (in 1998) while I was out to look for a teaching job in Serrekunda, The Gambia.
Although, I came back to Nigeria on a Ghana Airways flight that took almost 8 hours from Serrekunda to Lagos because it was stopping at every country on its way (dropping and picking passengers).
Apart from those hurdles, Gambia is a very nice place to vise. You will like the place more between December and March, because of the weather wouldn't be so hot like other times of the year. So were you able to get the teaching job,how was the experience and pay like? |

The only way you can apply for a visit visa as a nigerian is if you have a relation here. then you apply under their TRC.
Otherwise, you apply for a full working visa or 3 months business visa Pls how much is 3 months visa? 1 Like |

Go through the travel section here and read. Don't call anyone claiming to be an agent or else you will just give your money to scammers.
There are several threads opened for each country's travel requirement and warning you on things to look out for with fraudsters.
Go to youtube. Many Nigerian immigrants have done videos about the process. Dubai seems like a good option with the money you have but make sure you do your investigations well before dropping money.
Al Dubai no longer issue work permit to Nigerians 1 Like |

molbic: One advantage with maraba is that it has three building materials, so if want to change to any other building materials it is as easy as, last year someone that deals in electrical entered our market , but have to change because no body sells that in our market , He's selling paints now other materials that welder people uses and is doing ok now , So you might as well think of changing business Pls how much can one get a selfcontain there in your area? |
