Thanks sis but I don't mean paying for ielts, As in how I can pay for the EA assessment using normal rate charge coz if I use my Mastercard, the bank will charge using parallel market. I have downloaded the booklet... Thanks[/quote With the new restructions on naira cards, I doubt if the payment would go through. I think you should go with @Lawland suggestion cause we didn't use a Nigerian card to pay. |

ENGRJCJ: EA accepts both general training and academics for IELTS. They also accept TOEFL iBT. To pay for IELTS, u pay using a bank draft addressed to British council. Take the draft to their office to complete your registration. If you choose to pay online, have in mind that the amount you will pay would be higher than 52k because of exchange rates. You can download the MSA booklet from EA website to guide you. |
Thanks. I would love to do it myself. What are the procedures ?.....thanks. I copied this from @manmeta's post. These are the steps you need to follow. 1. Know if your discipline is listed on the SOL. For this, you can just type on google SOL/CSOL list for Australia or visit https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Skills-assessment-and-assessing-authorities/skilled-occupations-lists/SOL 2. Know if you can meet the points required. I think it's 60 points now. This information is also on the border website. 3. Know the assessing body responsible for assessing your qualifications in Australia. 4. Do IELTS. You'll need for your qualifications to be assessed and for visa application too. Find out which one your assessing body in Australia will require (Academic or GT). Mine was Engineers Australia and they required GT. GT is easier and it's also fine for visa application. 5. Gather all necessary docs and get them ready. Apply for Assessment and await your outcome. 6. Do EoI and await response. 7. If given go ahead to apply. If you're prompted to apply, it's almost a done deal. 8. You'd thereafter be told to do medicals and security checks. 9. Start organising your departure. Say farewell to friends and families and make sure your enemies remain unaware. 10. Do a financial plan for your departure and stay here. 11. Make inquiries about where you'd choose to settle, flights, 5 Likes |
Wow, mothers where u buying ur swaddlers? I stopped using it wen my baby moved to size3, couldn't get it. If you are in Abuja, you can get it in one baby store (can't remember the name exactly) in shoprite Apo. The store is very close to PEP in there but its quite expensive as compared to the price i bought mine in the US. My DS has been using it since birth and now he is on size 2. He uses abt 4-5 diapers a day n believe me, I don't need to worry abt changing diapers overnite cos it absorbs perfectly. I once tried the pampers baby dry in Nigeria n it was far less inferior quality compared to swaddlers. |
