Autos / Re: Please Help Me Choose Between These Three Cars by markavelli(m): 5:52pm On Oct 17
I'd recommend the Acura or honda
gofigurena:
Please, note all the cars are claimed to be toks, not Nigerian used. All the pictures are for demonstration purposes except the White Infiniti G35 Sport- that's the actual car.

Im sure you'd fail even as a Whatsapp group admin. But see the gibberish youre spewing.
helinues:
Nonsense talk

Is Wike holding Fubara's hand from working?

Wike as a minister has been busy with projects as usual in FCT but the sissy Fubara has been given excuses upon excuses.

He would explain to the Rivers state people in 2027 if he was elected to be fighting others senselessly while ignoring governance.

I can hear you bleat while reading this.
Kemetian:

If Obi was president you could be in a refugee camp, or worse, by now. He wanted to start a religious war, Daddy.

Politics / Re: NNPCL-Dangote Fuel Price Outrageous, Exploitative – Reps Minority Caucus by markavelli(m): 7:51am On Sep 18
We need to bring back death by firing squad. I hope your purse and stomach are filled with whatever palliatives you were given. You open your mouth and spew utter nonsense.
CodeTemplarr:
Minority doesnt mean you must sound like a pained loser. How much are other refineries around the world selling on the average?
Politics / Re: Benin Republic, Niger Enjoy Smuggled Fuel As Nigerians Keep Vigil For Petrol by markavelli(m): 9:28am On Aug 24
You almost sound smart with this your take. But you fail to acknowledge the inherent corruption in all government institutions that have continuously weakened any development efforts. If the security agencies did their job, we wouldnt be here. If the management of the NNPC were transparent, we wont be here.

We are here because we are greedy and unthinking. It is 2024, and there a ton of ways to track every drop of fuel that passes through Nigerias ports, but here we are. Corruption is institutionalized and propagated by the same people who are suppose to ensure Nigeria works for us all.

Again, Nigeria [as is it is currently structured and led] will never be great. This contraption needs to be aborted at the earliest opportunity, and the womb rid of all contaminants.

What business do we have running a democratic system of Government?
nairalanda1:
cheesy

It is simple.

1. Fuel costs below N1000 here

2. Fuel costs above N1000 over there. Even in NIger, with the recent reduction, fuel costs N1400 per liter

3. Naturally, smuggling would result. And let's be honest, it is not only big people doing it, even the small ordinary Nigerian would carry a 50 liter jerrycan of fuel across the border, and sell it, and come back with a big enough profit to bribe customs, and still have enough left over.

4. We don't have fuel, because government is struggling to pay the subsidy on fuel. Right now we owe fuel exporters lots of money, we are struggling to even pay the NNPC shortfall, and NNPC is now raiding the dividends to pay off its own shortfall.

5. And yet, Nigerians keep asking for cheap fuel

It is our desire to have N40 fuel that is causing this, people. And it is high time we woke up and realized fuel cannot be cheap, and totally removed subsidy.

Yet, anyone suggesting this now is apparently agbado, even if they have never voted for tinubu or never liked the man (I have not liked tinubu since 2005, when Gani first raised the questions about his certificate then)....

But it is obvious subsidy, even at tinubu level is not sustainable.

The only way to stop smuggling is to TOTALLY REMOVE SUBSIDES. Yes, fuel would cost N1500 per liter, and yes, Agbado people brought hardship to NIgeria, and yes NIgeria needs to divide, and bla bla bla

But you cannot sell at a loss and not expect issues.

And if you think NIgeria is the only country with this issue....

1. LIbya has a severe smuggling problem, to the point that smuggliers are being bombed by the LIbyan air force

2. Saudi has a smuggling problem with Yemen, which they are finding hard to fight

3. Iran has issues on the border with Pakistan. Iranian fuel is being smuggled into Pakistan well well. Subaisy

4. Venezuela has a massive smuggling problem. Same thing happening here. They lost 18 bn dollars to smuggling one year.

See the benefits of subsidy

Yet somehow, we want something that costs over N1000 to make to be sold at N200 or less because 'poverty'

We better wake up folks.
Politics / Re: List Of Oil Producing State 2024 & How Much They Got As 13% Derivation by markavelli(m): 10:24pm On Aug 12
Most traffic lights in Uyo metropolis are bad. Pot holes on some major roads. In big 2024, Akwa Ibom powers street lights using a diesel Generator. Meanwhile theres a multi-billion dollar "worship centre" sitting idly somewhere. Its a big shame.
MadamVanessa:
shocked

Akwa Ibom state is the second largest oil producing state. Despite billions of allocation given to the state by the federal government, nothing much to show. My brothers and sisters there are living in penury, no work , nothing to show. A lot spent so much resources, gone to school even to Ph.d level still no work. Godswill Akpabio the clownish senate president now and Udom Emmanuel did nothing than looting the state even the present state governor Umoh Eno won't be an exception.

Because they managed to construct roads and built some infrastructures, they've tried, and fóolish people keep on singing their praises to high heavens without knowing how much these people gulped every month. Tackle poverty in Akwa Ibom by giving our graduates jobs ,create skills acquisition centres for those who are unable to go to school. The rate of poverty and suffering in that state is saddening and does not depict the fact that Akwa Ibom is one of the richest state in Nigeria.

How Akwa Ibom person for suffer tell me ? Or having the thought of going to other states to do house girl/boy for meagre pay. When I reason dis thing my head de boil. Politicians no go die better. God punish them.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Didn’t Address Our Demands – Youths Storm Lagos Streets, Continue Protest by markavelli(m): 8:54am On Aug 05
Lol. Easy to spot a mole. No worry, the money they gave you will finish soon.
Philipponzaghi:
Tinubu has shown he cares about dialogue and unity, but some youths need to understand that change takes time. Protests are good, but constructive engagement is key. Let's work together to build the Nigeria we all want instead of just shouting demands. Unity is strength!
Politics / Re: Bomb Explodes In Borno Ahead Of Protests, 19 Residents Feared Dead by markavelli(m): 9:39am On Aug 01
May you not die a coward sir. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Salewa97:
Na wa o.

This is the kind of chaos that follows when people decide to protest without a clear plan. Instead of addressing the real issues, they just scatter everywhere like headless chickens.

In Nigeria, protests are just a platform for people to display their frustration without any real change. The blood of innocent people is on the hands of those who incite these protests.

We have seen it before; the politicians are busy playing their games while the common man suffers the consequences. The people in Borno are paying the price for what? For a protest that won't change anything?

If the leaders truly cared, they would focus on protecting lives instead of letting people march around without understanding the risks involved. This is just a cycle of violence that leads nowhere.
Politics / Re: Protest: You Don’t Know Where This Will End - VP Shettima Tells Nigerians by markavelli(m): 8:20am On Jul 27
I wonder how some people sleep at night.
helinues:
They should at least tell us what the Kenya protest they want to do copy copy about achieved

That was their initial narration of why we must protest in Nigeria. So if Kenya protest did not achieve anything, why then do we need to waste our time on a protest that won't achieve any meaningful things

All this grammar, and you succeeded in saying nothing.

He has a multitude of daft idiots behind him that are beclouded by their own stench of shitty hubris.

Seriously, Obi is becoming a nuisance parading himself as opposition.

That fool will never ever smell any public office .

I seriously blame Jonathan for protecting this thief that ought to be in kirikiri.

Thief claiming Saint .
