Politics / Re: NIMC Charging 15,000 Naira For Modification Of Date Of Birth? by markmood: 9:40pm On Sep 11, 2019

Government need to understand this error sometimes are made by the person that enrolled us. Give us grace to check what they fill for Us and one chance to modify by ourself.
let's act like developed countries. We use same software afterall...

Exactly, I mean my DOB got changed at the point of registration- the official filled in the wrong dates (he got the right year) and of course it doesn't show on the slip when its printed out and now I am paying the price.
It is just annoying even with all the documents I provided

Do you have any proof that you paid 15k?

Its very important

You pay via REMITA
Politics / Re: Nimc 15k For Change Of Date Of Birth Is True by markmood: 9:35pm On Sep 11, 2019
The 15k charge for the DOB change is official. As a matter of fact, you pay via REMITA and present the slip at NIMC. The main issue is the NIMC has not figured a way of resolving the DOB since they started which I find very embarrassing. I am currently trying to sort this out as I can't renew my international passport without my DOB being corrected on their useless portal.
It is actually very bad as I was introduced to a lady who worked at NIMC, she told me she hoped my issue wasn't a DOB one. Imagine that? Why enforce this NI thing that doesn't have the capability for corrections of errors. Makes no sense at all.
Why do we keep doing this to ourselves? There has to be a way around this

Music/Radio / Re: My Open Letter To Toby Grey - An Upcoming Nigerian Artiste by markmood: 10:16am On Sep 08, 2016
Toby Grey is so dope. Sad there is no full on support for alternative acts such as Grey. The lack of infrastructure is killing us and forcing artistes to go the same route. This is not viable in the long run.

I also implore you to check out this Lagos based emcee called Phlow. she has been featured in high profile blogs like The Source, 2dopeboyz etc. She was also one of the winners of the last HennessyVS Class of 2015.

Trust me you won't be dissappointed.
