I used mavistar private health insurance for enrolment but TH Koln just sent me an email that I should provide certificate of exemption from statutory health insurance.... I am above 30...I thought anybody above 30 is automatically exempted?

How do I go about this?

You should provide an exemption from public health insurance even if you are above 30 yrs, i think it is also needed for documentation and all.
What you should do is go to the international office in your school and get the contact details of the person who can issue you an exemption letter, contact the person and send the exemption notice to your school. don't worry they will assist you in sorting it out.

Please, is there anyone here studying in University of Bonn? I was given an acceptance letter and was asked to provide prof of funds for two years...while the normal embassy requirement is 1year. Please anyone with advice : I need someone to put me through ...please

Meaning what they gave you is a conditional admission and you have to meet up with that condition within the stipulated time, I won't say am suprised at their action. some of the courses in that school is so serious that even the black guys there don't work except on weekends
and during the holiday, i know one person who is a friend and always complaining about how the modules are not flexible. I would advise you write to them to clarify the required sum because that would mean you blocking up to €20k, notify them of what the embassy requirement for a blocked account is in your country and await their response. While at it bro, look for another school because people there are very serious minded academics and the University is on track to be one of the best in Germany.

They haven't received it from the embassy

From the trend i have noticed here in nairaland, it usually takes withing 5 working days to recieve your Visa from the embassy and today marks my fifth working day.

Good morning everyone, please kindly provide inside to this:
when one receives instruction from the embassy to send evidence of funding block account, insurance and passport and the person does so, is there an acknowledgement from the embassy upon reception of these documents?

Helo everyone, I appreciate all who make efforts to ease the worry of others and also point them in the right direction on this platform.

Kindly help out with the answer to this question:
how much time does one have after interview to fund BA?

Okay sir. Please I want to understand you perfectly so I don't go about it the wrong way. He asks for those documents like nysc, vaccination and baptismal but if you tell him you don't have. You can still go on and it won't affect your chances. Right?

I'm not sir abeg.
it won't affect your application in any way.

these requirements are majorly for people coming to the embassy to apply for family reunion visa, i guess Old G Paulinus is now mixing up things in his head. Don't worry about anything that is not stipulated in your checklist

Guys Make una help me respond to this ooo. Is it true that Paulinus is asking for NYSC certificate. I'm a corper but I have absolutely no interest in continuing. Although I have made some arrangement concerning that. My interview is coming up very soon I hope this won't pose a problem. Please respond. I beg oooooooo.

Yes it is true, but no one will fault you for not going with it.
transcript, Nysc certificate and old document such as baptism card or vaccination card from childhood are part of documents he now requests for.
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by marshall54: 3:18pm On Apr 15, 2019
I have often asked questions about why this forum and my friends studying in Germany won't stop mentioning the name "Paulinus" in affiliation with German Consulate Lagos, when you have a first hand experience of his theatrics, you will understand why he is so dreaded.
He abuses the office which he occupies and what that office does is "to check your documents against the checklist and grant you pass into the embassy".

To save yourself this nightmare and public embarrassment, i would advice you start from atleast part 5 and read this thread to completion so as to avoid mistakes with the required documents and in what number you need to come with it.

Avoid the mistakes of others if you are wise!!!

Good evening house, i recently heard an account of two persons who were asked to re-write their motivational letter at the embassy during the interview.

can anyone validate this possibility?
Thanks
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by marshall54: 6:25pm On Apr 13, 2019
Please i need clarification on these areas below:

Is one copy of motivational letter adequate or do i need more ?

For the declaration, should I sign both the German and English column or just the English one?

Thanks!!!
Travel / Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by marshall54: 6:15pm On Apr 11, 2019
please I need insight on how to write the Visa motivation letter: content and who it is to be addressed to.
Thanks
