Please N/L I was denied since 2months and their decision why they denied me was all lies . I and my fiancé sued them at the administrative court (Verwaltungsgericht) in Berlin. Please I want to know , anyone has an idea when the court can make a decision regarding my visa and is there a chance that we can win it .

I got denied because of age difference , after 3years of fighting. Not that my documents was incomplete but they just decided what they wanted . My question is that how do they know that Gays love each other . German embassy is unfair.

After I went for my interview last year September 2020 , I got another email from the embassy that I should come on the 22 of March 2021 and my wife also got the same mail . I also shared it here . As I said I got the same letter and it was another interview and at the same time on that day, They were also interviewing my fiancé, I was really confused because I did my interview 2nd September 2020 and I ask the interviewer why another interview and he said that when one comes for another interview like this , it’s a sign that you are at the end of your journey with the embassy. The questions the interviewer asked was all about my fiancé personal life and educational background and they also asked my fiancé all about me in our home state in Germany. Please my question now is :- for how long must we wait again because this is my 3rd year fighting the Germany embassy and the painful part of all this , i and my fiancé keep renewing our marriage document . Now is also the 3rd time we are doing so

Please please N/L house , I am in a hot seat now , the embassy wrote to me first week of this month to come and take my passport and do a new one because my own passport has only 2 months to expire, they have been holding my passport since September last year , now I went to Ikoyi passport center here in Lagos , to do a new passport and after capturing , The immigration officer told me that there is no booklet at the moment and it’s a nationwide something and that he would give me a document, indicating that I have applied for a new passport and paid fully for it and my second interview at the embassy is on Monday, please what should I do ?

After the embassy said I should come and take my old passport and do a new one , I went and took it and straight to immigration office , so I met an immigration officer, who charged 50 thousand naira for new passport, I gave him 30 thousand because I wasn’t with the complete documents need for the new passport, moreover my intention was to ask him some questions, if I can do the passport here in Lagos because the old one was done in Abuja and he said yes . So after paying 30 thousand naira I went back home and came back the next day with the documents he listed that I should bring . I gave him the balance of 20 thousand naira , do you know that the so called immigration Headquarters in Abuja didn’t active my old international passport , it was displaying no information found . I was really shocked . So I asked him what’s the next step because it’s two ways , either he would request for more money or I travel to Abuja , so he said It can be done here that we need to meet another immigration officer who would write to the Immigration Headquarters in Abuja, so I have to give him 5 thousand naira , I transferred it to him , make it 55 thousand naira now . So we went together into the other immigration officer office and he said I just give him the photo copy of my passport and I need , I followed the other immigration officer outside and he said I should call him on Monday at 10 am . Nigeria is a dead nation .

Yes I go it too but I am confused, why do they need us to come directly . They even wrote on my own that I should bring my new passport and the email photocopy

Go there as requested by them. Let them know your passport is with them.

If they require you to provide a new Passport you will be informed. (Don't forget you need the old passport to renew.)

Be straight forward, no hanky panky and your Visa will be waiting for you.

Please House N/L . I really need a help because I’m confused. I went to the embassy September 2020 for my interview (marriage visa ) . After the interview I gave my passport to the man who interviewed me , he said if there is any other thing I would want to use the passport for and I said no ,so I gave him the passport plus the documents . Last week I got an email from the embassy that I should come and summit my passport and print out the mail which they sent to me. 1 . My passport would expire May , is the message indirecting telling me that I have to do a new passport . 2 . I’m I going for another interview because I don’t understand why they want me to come personally at the embassy?

Congrats but I applied 22 of September for appointment 2019 and I did interview 2nd of September 2020 but I have not received no email or visa . Oh did my verification July 2019 . I’m going for fiancé visa but under family reunion

I think the embassy just don’t follow the rule they made. Despite the fact that my spouse is a citizen of the European Union, they insist I would have to provide an A1 language certificate with a very short date given.
I just pray Goethe institute resumes and start giving exams on time. I need to work harder in passing the test too. I miss my wife so much

You are very right. The embassy doesn’t follow their own rules. This is my 4th month I went to the embassy for my interview. Did my verification 2019 July/august. Omo this people are something else

Me I have forgotten their matter. I would be just flying in when ever am chance. At least 4 months after stay in Germany or 6 months.

Imagine. Application since May 2019. We are yet to get a date. The last date was cancelled due to covid in march 2020. I have wrote to them several times for a new date. No response.


I did then a family visit for my spouse for 90 days, even after fulfilling all the requirements. I even paid 1900 Euro as security deposit incase her visa expired and she's still in Germany, they should deport her with the money. But still her visa was rejected. That there are not sure of her returning home. Don't forget I paid the security deposit for deportation.

So it's really crazy honestly the way those guys are doing.

I don’t even want to start talking my own. Omo those people at the embassy. Only God would judge them

Please after you have done your verification and gone for your interview . How long does one has to wait for the visa because according to what I read on google , it says that it can take up to 12 weeks which means 3 months . Can it take more than that ?

Finally Family Reunion visa gotten/delivered today..I thank God for seeing me thru cos it was really very fustruating journey ..l booked an appointment March 1st 2019 and went for interview October 2019 .verification by lawyer was done November 2019.I really appreciate everyone here that shared their stories ,I learnt so much from u all..Goodluck to everyone still expecting theirs
