Ok! Thank you. Just mailed the embassy.
VisaOfficer:

It's okay to have dual nationality, but I'd like to know more about your case before I tell you everything will be fine. The fewer questions a person has to answer at the point of entry, the better! Please send us an e-mail at LagosIV@state.gov so we can review the case for you.

‎Good morning VO,my cousin just picked up my passport and visa package from DHL and realized my nationality is written as Cameroonian. I was born in Cameroon to nigerian parents but my passport  indicates my nationality as nigerian. I'm wondering if it's going to be an issue and also if it has to be changed is it possible to have my cousin drop it off at the embassy?is it ok to have dual nationality?

No that's not what I'm saying. Hepatitis b is supposed to be taken in two doses, the first is before the interview and then the second should be taken on the day the physician writes on the vaccination card.
Ps I'm actually referring to Q life clinic, don't know how it's done for children's practice
Timika: Mary are you saying that the if one has taken the hap B before interview, no need taking it again during the boosting?

If it helps I haven't seen the passport, so I don't know if the visa was adjusted to match the time the medicals expire. I'm just speculating..thanks for the information though, it's been really helpful.
Have a nice day ahead.
VisaOfficer:

You must travel with valid medicals, or you will have trouble entering the U.S. Indeed, we should have changed your visa expiration date to match your medical paperwork; I'm chagrined that that didn't happen. If you'd like, you can just go get new medical paperwork from a panel physician, and hand-carry it with you to show to the Customs agent at the point of entry.

Thanks a lot for for the response, what if it's just the medicals that's expired? Whereas the visa still has its six months validity what do I do?it's for the dv
VisaOfficer:

Well, there are a few options here. First, you could go to the U.S., then return for your parents' anniversary. I know how expensive the flights are, though, and if you don't get your LPR card in the meantime, you'll need a boarding foil from us in order to return to the States.

If you have a Diversity Visa, we can issue a new one for you as long as it's issued before September 30. There's no fee for reissuance of a Diversity Visa.

If you have an Immigrant Visa, we can do this for you but you would have to pay the $230 fee again. If it's any kind of immigrant visa besides an IR or a CR, though, that can only be done before Sept. 30 .

If your visa is an IR or a CR, we can issue a new visa until Sept. 30, 2015 (not 2014), but you would have to pay the $230 fee again.

(Ks can also be replaced but I think this post is already complicated enough...)

Reissuances / replacements are done when an applicant can't travel for reasons outside his / her control, but I would be willing to consider your parents' decision to get married and create an inconvenient anniversary date for their future child something that is beyond your control.

Yes you'd have to pay an Additional money for the boosting and also for oral polio which was added a few weeks ago to the list if vaccines. If you've done the hep.B then you will pay 5000 for mmr + oral polio if not you should budget 15,000 at most for it.congrats girl. Maybe you should send me a message via email...might be able to contact you like that.
Cynthia4real: Guddy house,hw is ur wekend going?pls i wnt to knw if we ar to pay another money at Q life for the second vaccines, pls those dat hv had their second vaccine shuld gv me information, tnx for ur response.

Good morning VO,
I finally got my visa approved and I really want to thank you for your advise so far. But I have a challenge now, my parents will be celebrating their wedding anniversary in December and I really want to be there for it, but the thing is my medicals expire October. I'm wondering if it's possible to extend it or do I have to do another one?

To be honest, favour has been my name so far...... the story begins.
2 weeks ago I stumbled upon an article which emphasised that a police report
Must be presented for every country one stays 12 months and above, and then my confusion starts, how will I go get a police report from another country which I have to be present to get it, well I decided to give it a try and asked a relation to help me get it but the first copy had series of mistake so did the second and third. At this point I really became frustrated and then decided to travel to go get it myself. After much delay I got there over the weekend and then prepare my document on Monday thereafter leave on Tuesday for my interview on Thursday.
..........interview proper.. got to the embassy 6.15am, after security checks went into the waiting room at about 7:10. Waited till about 2:30 and my number was finally called
Me: good afternoon maam
Co: good afternoon,are you xyz?
Me: yes
Co: do u swear to say the truth......?
Me: i do
Co: sign here
Me: yes please
Co: what's your highest level of education and what did you study?
Me:123
Co: when did you finish sec school?
Me:567
Co: why did you not do it in the the country?
Me: 097
Co: are you married ?any children?
Me : nope
Co: ok! I'm gonna approve your visa!
Me: xoxo
Co: good luck!

It's been God all through.....join me in thanking the Lord!!!!!
Congrats Cynthia

Thank you!
As long as you can show that you have at least a secondary school education, everything beyond that is welcome but technically superfluous.

Hello VO,
I studied a course in the university under the programme that doesn't go for nysc but rather given an an exclusion letter, but in my case we haven't gotten it. My question is whether the nysc is a vital document which must be presented for the interview(dv)?
Travel / Re: U.S. Immigration Questions: Ask A U.S. Consular Officer by marymary14(f): 9:58am On Jul 16, 2014
VisaOfficer:

Should be fine. Just let the officer know. If all else is well, we can keep the case open until you submit the necessary clearances.

Thanks for the info, it's a relief....

Hello VO,
I recently won the dv lottery and my interview is slated for the 24th of July, but the problem is I recently realised I had to get a police clearance from other countries I have lived in for 12 months and I just got one but there are typographical errors on it. Want to know if it's going to affect my case.

Regards
Mary
