The source of genuine happiness is highly relative to your personality. It is affected by many factors all depending on the person in question. For me,the best definition of happiness I have come across is still "Happiness is that feeling that comes over you when you know life is good and you can't help but smile".
True happiness actually lasts but a moment, this is because to everyone who is breathing life must present challenges and this challenges usually cause ill-feelings. To properly face life one has to find as much things and activities that can generate happiness.
So my advice is follow your dreams, make decent money, love and marry a good woman, raise nice kids and leave the rest to God for only he can guarantee true happiness.

Firstly, from what I understood from the desperation she was portraying at the initial stage of your relationship, I feel she has been bed wetting for a very long time not a year like she said.

Many things contribute to the pride one has as a woman and it takes just a little thing to take that pride away. bed wetting can be very embarrassing as a teenager talk more an adult.

My brother, you have a lot of work to do if you want this to work. first of all you have to help her maintain her pride as a woman. You "sparking" at her was wrong. A woman is happiest when she finds a man who loves her the way she is. You getting angry would have come as a serious shock to her and would have hurt her greatly.

First off we live in a world where things that were considered abomination and unthinkable 100 - 50 years ago are a norm today. It's no news that fornication is the order of the day among youths. In fact, it's almost sinful to be a virgin these days. Even on Nairaland here, people pride themselves by how many females they've fvcked and whatnots. No one ever talks about that one even though religion and culture frowns upon such.


No one talks about the fact that these days girls are more comfortable to be jumping from bed to bed and be engaging in sexual activities with men old enough to be their fathers and having affairs with married men all for financial reward. No one talks about that even though it is frowned upon by all religion.


These days, the concept of marriage is slowly fading out as people, most especially females prefer being "baby mamas", that is, having kids for different men without any bond whatsoever. You see a guy in his twenties who looks single it you don't know he has several baby mamas. Even our celebrities are the ones spearheading such nonsense. I don't know of the religion or culture that supports such inanity.

People commit all sort of despicable acts everyday. Acts which are forbidden by most religions and cultures, but no one bats an eyelid. These things are already becoming a norm.

So why is it the subject of homosexuality that gets everyone talking?? Why is it that it is when homosexuality comes up that we remember religion, morals, and cultural values?! Imagine a prostitute, who's committed series of abortion, telling a homosexual person he'd go to hell. Imagine such nonsense. Why do we carry this matter with so much weight?? Why don't we just allow it to be a norm like sex before marriage or going after married men?!


I am a straight male. The love I have for the opposite sex is unquestionable. But I can't start shaming someone because they choose to love differently. I'd rather have a homosexual son than a prostitute daughter. Most of these homosexuals understand the concept of love, marriage and family, better than us straight folks. So why do we berate them unnecessarily?
