The gurus in the house, please I need your assistance. I noticed yesterday that some of the fishes in my pond have sores on their bodies as if they are attacking each other especially the small once but I also some have peeled skin at their back and around their head.

Secondly, the water is no longer turning into slight green but brown. though I suspect the water coming from the drainage of not been pure even though it look like clean water on the surface. once I reduced the pond's water and fresh one flows in, it will gradually turns brown and start smelling after 3days if no water flow in but the fishes are still feeding well.

What can I do to arrest this situation because the drainage water is the only source of water in the area.

It is not likely because the fish will eat up their eggs in the pond but mosquitoes can reproduce through your water channels (especially if your exit pass through gutter) mostly if you are using earthen pond.

House please I need urgent assistance. My fish has been consuming 1bag per meal but since Sunday they can't even finish half bag. Today when I reduced the water in earthen pond, I suspect there may be bacteria in the pond because every object (Sand bags, sticks & d rest) in the pond has grown white hair on their bodies and the body of some of the fishes are turning whitish also.

I will like to know if there is anyone currently using Top feed in the house. it is been sold for N3900 in Osogbo compare to Vital feed of 4500 but I don't just want to go for it because of low price without knowing its effect on the growth of fish. Thanks.

I am new to this trend and after reading many of the posts, I believe I am in the right place. House please I need help. I have 1500 fish of 12weeks old and I am running out of cash though I still have 250k but I doubt if it will be enough for their feeding. I started with Aqua and later changed to durantee but I am using vital feed 4mm now. their growth are now even because I have only one pond but there is constant run water ( in & out). I heard of local feed but the person using it beside my pond is not encouraging because my fish is bigger than his. I want to ask if anyone has any experience with durantee local feed or if there is a way a can get cheaper already prepared local feed that I can use to get better result. my pond is in Osogbo, Osun State. Thanks.
