Properties / Re: Wanted: Indoor Court/Hall For Table Tennis by MAYORIN1(m): 9:36pm On Apr 04, 2007 |
Sen why not go to any of these Stadias, and negotiate with them who know you may strike a deal. A gymnasium hall is the ideal place., it will boast the profile and give enough publicity to what you wanna do. And who knows big sponsorship fit come. N Never rule out possibility. |
Romance / Re: What To Do With A Cheating Boyfriend? by MAYORIN1(m): 9:35pm On Apr 04, 2007 |
The popular saying goes "Love is Blind" - I hope you have not allowed this saying to affect your rational judgement. I beseech you to kindly open your eyes and see that this so called guy doesn't love you nor deserve you love. Any who hurts your feeling doesn't love you, from your write-up i guessed its glaring that he knows the trauma you’re experiencing b’cos of the "friendship". I wonder what a guy who gives you heartache will give you when you marry him – Heart – attack and heart break I guess. Girl I think its high-time you confronted this quandary, sit him down, have an heart 2 heart talk with him about how your feel. If he values your relationship he will adjust to make you happy. if he does not – then he is a f-cking player. Desert him at once; the nincompoop does not worth you a second. Remember keep your eyes open make sure he doesn’t play nor sweet talk you. |

Ok, let's try to be unbaised and rationale with our judgement, if we assume that this guy of yours is innocent and nieve of all these happenings. Guy who hurts your feeling doesn't love you, from your write-up i guessed its glaring that he knows teh trauma you passing b'cos of the "friendship". Girl i think its high time you confronted this |
Family / Re: Is It Necessary To Spank Children? by MAYORIN1(m): 11:59am On Apr 04, 2007 |
I don't believe you in spanking a child, eventhough while growing my mum did not spared me the rod, but my dad never raised is hand on me. I think there should be balance point and moderation when discipling a child. |

C++, Java & PHP are poor choice to use for introducing students to computer science. While they are certainly very powerful programming language, it is also an extremely difficult language to learn and teach. I found myself constantly fighting with C++'s difficult syntax and multiple ways of doing things. Broda, if you think Java is dam hard for you - Then start with python; ya python very easy to grasp and you get do lots of witty stuff with it. From there you can migrate to other solid OOP (say Java or C++). Python is a multi-paradigm programming language which has a fully dynamic type system and uses automatic memory management; it is thus similar to Perl, Ruby, Scheme, Smalltalk, and Tcl. Python combines remarkable power with very clear syntax. It has modules, classes, exceptions, very high level dynamic data types, and dynamic typing. There are interfaces to many system calls and libraries, as well as to various windowing systems (X11, Motif, Tk, Mac, MFC, wxWidgets). New built-in modules are easily written in C or C++. Python is also usable as an extension language for applications that need a programmable interface. Since the syntax and coding technique of python is very easy and simple , its is good PL for a novice to start with. Python is a language that can run on GNU/Linux machines as well as Windows and Macintosh platforms. It is a free software, so you can use regardless of your income. It is a language used by professional programmers, and one that had an active developer community around it. It supports both procedural and object-oriented programming. When you're writing working code nearly as fast as you can type and your misstep rate is near zero, it generally means you've achieved mastery of the language. I will recommend this site for you How to Thinking like Computer Scientist - Python version http://www.computer-books.us/python_0003.php http://wiki.python.org/moin/PythonBooks Python is also a scripting language, an interpretive language with its own built-in memory management and good facilities for calling and cooperating with other programs. That means you can build scintillating web application script with it and even move to Perl since that have similar structure. —From Usenet posting by Mark Jackson, June 1998 |
Business / Re: Opening A Chain Of Shops by MAYORIN1(m): 9:48am On Apr 04, 2007 |
Starting a chain shop in Nigeria ain't any stress - once the capital is available. But I will advise you carry out a through feasibility study to get to understand the technique involve in, the environment and the customers (what they want) Above all the environment matters alot; you can't open a leather shop in AJ or Ojuelagba where the people are looking for where to get their next meal from and expect to break even. You need to go to where the people have spilled over for what you sell and fancy it. On a second thought are Nigerian really leather crazy. Good luck to ya friend |

Career / Re: Self-employment Tips by MAYORIN1(m): 10:06pm On Apr 02, 2007 |
Great Thread Sen I think some of these pit falls should be avoided by aspiring and wanna be entrepreneurs: Not having a business plan Many entrepreneurs carry their business idea and the critical planning elements in their heads. They get excited and very wrapped up in their business venture without enough thoughtful consideration, and without evaluating the potential and the pitfalls. Exploration of the product market is critical. A feasibility study is often the first step. A business plan should be used as a management guide to develop and to manage a business. If the business is a micro business, the plan can be relatively short. It should, however, be factual and capture the essence and direction of the business. Selling to the wrong people it’s a waste of time to try selling to people who simply don’t need what you’re offering. Selling to the wrong people includes trying to sell to everyone. Spending too much money Until you have a steady cashflow coming in, don’t spend your precious start-up cash unless it’s absolutely necessary. Spending too little money It’s also a mistake to be too stingy with your cash. Don’t let frugality get in the way of efficiency. Take advantage of skilled contractors who can do certain tasks more efficiently than you can. Putting on a fake front If you’re a newly self-employed person, don’t pretend you’re anything else. Price your products and services fairly for your level of skills and talents. Some newly self-employed people think they must become actors. The business they promote to the world is pure fantasy. Trying to fool your customers in this manner will only backfire. Going against your intuition Intuition is just as important in business as it is in other settings. You’d be amazed at how many gigantic corporate deals are green-lighted or red-lighted because of some CEO’s gut feeling. Being too formal Failing to focus on value creation Poor management and investment skill |
