They also employ Visual Basic . Net

Man if one must succeed in software development you have to very versatile in some many developmental tools, say:

Java, C, C#, C++, Python etc not just window based tools.

Anyway good job considering the fact that its coming from KD

Religion / Re: Why Do Youths Run Away From Deeper Life Bible Church? by MAYORIN1(m): 8:22pm On Apr 02, 2007
The reason is simple. Trend is changing Deeper Life still operates Old time Religion.

Youths want where they will be giving freedom to express themselves i.e. shout, jump, weird dance etc.

Church where you will clap your hands and worship God with moderation isn't a place most youth would like to be.

OAU - is one of the best university in Nigeria. I fell in love with the school at the last NUGA games. I love the way and manner the students portray themselves.

Very live, exhilarating and enthusiatic students.

I remember the Final match between OAU and the host school, even though OAU lost the game but then the students were more cheerful than the host school that won the match.

Health / Re: Hives: How Do I Deal With It? by MAYORIN1(m): 11:21am On Apr 02, 2007
Medical professionals refer to hives as urticaria

HIVES is the Itchy, swollen, red bumps or patches on the skin that appear suddenly as a result of the body’s adverse reaction to certain allergens. They can appear anywhere on the body including the face, lips, tongue, throat or ears. Hives vary in size and can last for minutes or days.

Causes of Hives
Ingestion or Inhalation
When the source of hives can be determined, most cases are caused by ingestion of a substance. Drugs can suddenly cause hives even if the person has been taking them for years. Many foods or food additives can also cause hives suddenly, even in small amounts. I am including inhaled allergens under ingestion because these are foreign substances that are taken into the body.

Some of the more common triggers are the following:

Infections such as viral illnesses, especially in children

Allergies to food, medications, cosmetics, soaps, and detergents

Insect stings and bites

Transfusions of blood or blood products

Emotional and physical stress

Physical agents such as sunlight, heat, cold, water, or pressure

If I may Ask Vie is there any one in your family that experiences same, this may be one of the risk factor.

Treatment of Hives
Treatment may not be needed if hives are mild -- they will go away on their own. Antihistamines may reduce inflammation, itching, and swelling.

Try as much as possible to avoid direct sunlight
Prevent undue delayed pressure: reaction to standing for long periods, bra-straps and belts
Watch the kind of Cream and soap you use (cosmetics).
Watchout for chronic cold: ice, cold air and water
Use Antibacterial and antiseptic such as dettol in your bath water

Avoid common allergns such as:
Drugs
Penicillin
Aspirin
Sulfa antibiotics
Morphine
Codeine
Polymyxin
Dextran
Curare
Quinine
Diuretics

Foods
Fish
Shellfish
Nuts
Eggs
Chocolate
Strawberries
Tomatoes
Pork
Cow's milk
Cheese
Wheat
Yeast
Citrus fruits

Food Additives

Salicylates
Tartrazine (a dye)
Benzoate
Penicillin
Sulfites
Inhaled Allergens

Pollen
Mold Spores
Animal dander
House dust

I hope my epistle will help you - Anyway am waiting for my consultancy fee grin
Health / Re: Any Cure For Car-sickness? by MAYORIN1(m): 10:46am On Apr 02, 2007
Fear is a very ancient and universal emotion in man. It can be defined as the sensation that you are in danger, that something bad is about to happen. Fear is almost always accompanied by a host of physical symptoms which are quite disturbing. When it is not justified by the presence of real danger or threat, or by any rational cause, and when it is also accompanied by a systematic avoidance of the situations which lead to it, then we have what is called a phobia.

Phobia is actually a kind of panic reaction caused by specific stimuli or situations

Car Fear is also a phobia: Defined as "a persistent, abnormal, and unwarranted fear of riding in cars", each year this surprisingly common phobia causes countless people needless distress.

What are the causes of Car Fear you may ask:
Like all fears and phobias, car ride fear is created by the unconscious mind as a protective mechanism. At some point in your past, there was likely an event linking riding in cars and emotional trauma. Whilst the original catalyst may have been a real-life scare of some kind, the condition can also be triggered by myriad, benign events like movies, TV, or perhaps seeing someone else experience trauma.

If you are living with riding in car phobia, what is the real cost to your health, your career or school, and to your family life? Avoiding the issue indefinitely would mean resigning yourself to living in fear, missing out on priceless life experiences big and small, living a life that is just a shadow of what it will be when the problem is gone.

Cure
1. Somebody said "teh best way to eliminate your fear is to confront it"
2. Neurolinguistic programming -
2. Reconditioning of your mindhttp://www.helpguide.org/mental/phobia_symptoms_types_treatment.htm
3. Energy Psychology
4. Be in control

Finally act like man guy
Health / Re: Cure For Unexplainable Nausea by MAYORIN1(m): 10:04am On Apr 02, 2007
Dear Ikamefa:

You must understand what Nausea is:

It is also known as seas sickness

The urge or sensation of being about to vomit. Vomiting, or emesis, is the expelling of undigested food through the mouth. Nausea may be caused by overeating, infection, or irritation of the throat or stomach lining.
Nausea is not sickness itself but a symptom of one.

Ikamefa, In fact, more often than not nausea indicates a condition somewhere else in the body rather than in the stomach itself, perhaps, systemic illnesses, such as influenza, medications, pain, and inner ear disease and even adverse effect of many drugs or an effect of a large intake of sugary foods.

Other Causes of Nausea includes but not limited to the following:
Addison Disease
Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse
Appendicitis
Bulimia
Cancer
Certain Medication
Depression
Diabetes
Flu
Food Poisoning
Gastroenteritis (Stomach Flu)
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease
Gastroparesis
Hydrocephalus
Kidney Failure
Migraine
Pancreatitis
Peptic Ulcer
Sleep Deprivation
Tobacco Smoking / Second-hand Smoke
Vestibular Balance disorder
Viral Hepatitis
Environmental Change
Psychological Factors

Back to your question Ikamefa, you can employ one or more of the following treatment recommendations:

Symptomatic treatment for nausea and vomiting may include short-term avoidance of solid food.

Oral rehydration (drinking water) .

Intake ginger can help sooth the feeling of nausea.

Take lot of sleep

Avoid sugary food and unnecessary medication.

Avoid apprehension, depression, try to live a WORRY-FREE LIFE

If symptom persist see an expert.

I hope this will help Ikamefa - Waiting for my consultancy fee grin

Programming / Re: Who Knows Python? by MAYORIN1(m): 8:05pm On Apr 01, 2007
Learning Python isn't that difficult, as a matter of fact Python is one of the easiest modern-day High Level Programming language. The Codes and Sythax are easy to understand and you need not do much memorizing like other HLP and OOP.

I want to go into Web and System Programming as a career, I did lots of research on the Net as to which Language to start my voyage with.  I discovered that python is the programming language to start with.

The best way to learn python is to use internet tutorial and E-books, and your first point of call should be www.python.org there you will get to know all about the programme Google and NASA employ for some of their witty projects.

Then you can do some goggling
http://www.google.com.ng/search?hl=en&q=Python+Programming+Tutorial+&meta=

depending on your entry level, if your are a debutante in programming then try

Thinking like a scientist - Python version www.ibiblio.org.
I wish u the best in your adventure and make sure the python doesn't bite u tongue
