lies. Supreme Court judgement can be interpreted anyhow by court. This is just a judicial precedence meaning it can only help your case if you are in court for a similar case but it won't prevent you from being sued. And remember, Jehovah witness is a stubborn set. Even if the case is straight forward, they will still take you to court for transfusing their sect members and will still pursue the case to the supreme Court. Wether you win or not is Immaterial, the stress, the money and the time and the emotional trauma that you will pass through will be too much . Moreso, remember the baby didn't die yet they took them to court. Imagine after transfusion the baby still dies.... creating another scenario. They will now say even with the blood the baby died.... meaning the blood was not necessarily what would save the baby etc. There are too many scenarios in law and medical practice, a doctor should play safe and smart so they won't use you as a scapegoat

I didn't say the JW won't drag people to court anymore; I am saying that no court will entertain such cases. Of course you will be heard, but the case will be thrown off for lack of merit. Hahaha....it only worked because it was Chevron hospital. The doctors had to inform the commissioner of police. The police had to quickly go to court to get exparte order before transfusion. Don't forget the parent won't pay for the blood. Now the aftermath....they were in court for 22yrs. How many such cases do you want to do before you die? Remember the parent we're not the one sponsoring the case... it is the religious sect. Bottom line is this....no single private hospital will take such risk. You don't understand the premise of this rulling. A supreme court ruling is as good as a constitution, binding to everyone. So when next such a case happens, the hospital involved will just proceed on administrating the blood to the child, with this rulling as a backup. No lower court will entertain another complaint from any JW parents since the supreme court has decided on this already.

A precedent had already been set for this arguement in Onyema Ugochukwu Vs TA Orji when Onyema filed, after the election that TA did not qualify to contest having not resigned his position as Chief Of Staff 3 months to election as required by law.
The court dismissed the case on the basis that the election tribunal does not consider eligibility but outcome of election. They inferred that Onyema should have filed for disqualification of TA prior to election and not after the election.

That is why no suit challenging Buhari's elegibilty due to waec be entertained by the election tribunal. PDP knows this and that's why they are not depending only on that point in their case.
