Hope i am not going against the law. Also do i need to notify the consular of my intention to reuse visa for childbirth. Just make sure you have proof of payment of all bills from your last trip to have your child. 2 Likes |

boladet: Hello all ,I need urgent advice , I am in my 2nd trimester and I have just been given a tourist visa,I wasn't asked if I am pregnant and I didn't declare to Vo ,I would like to have my baby in the US eventually I am trying to gather funds , how do prevent from being turned back at poe Apply for a new visa for this medical need. Declare your intention to the VO, asking for a new visa and a revocation of the one you just received. 5 Likes |

Jasmine08: Can you kindly state what the E-Mail correspondence should establish? I mailed Dr. F and he responded with an attached cost document. Is that enough evidence of correspondence or what else do I need please?
Did you send your medical records and a letter of transfer of care from your doctor in Naija to the doctor in the US? If you did, he would’ve responded by accepting your care. Did you pre-register with him/her? These are all evidence of correspondence in addition to them communicating pricing to you. 1 Like |

Vlesparza:
Your personal budget (expense) sheet does not have to be from a doctor or hospital but you should have some kind of documentation from your doctor or hospital that specifies the cost of the treatment otherwise there is no proof that the numbers on your budget sheet are correct. Ideally, provide an additional letter from any personnel at the hospital or clinic where you will be seen that includes prices and a contact phone where the officer can call in case he/she should have any questions or want to confirm the prices and/or your appointment. Thank you for your response. The applicant did have a list of pricing from the doctor’s clinic but wasn’t asked for that. Perhaps she could’ve been more “aggressive” and pushed back on the VO’s accusation, by producing that as justification for the numbers on the budget sheet. |

MCareNetwork: Please dear Justwise and other gurus and VOs here. Here is the transcript of a failed visa interview. Can you decipher what went wrong?
Vo: good morning Applicant: good morning Vo: why are you going to Us Applicant: to give birth Vo: do you have your budget sheet Applicant: yes ( gave her a printed budget sheet typed up in Microsoft Excel.) Vo: looked at it and said one can easily make this Applicant: didn’t respond Vo: which hospital Applicant: oakbend hospital Vo: do you have your doctors letter Applicant: yes handed it over to her Vo: what do you do? Applicant: I work in my husband's company Vo: do you have husband account statement Applicant: yes gave it to her Vo: how many kids do you have Applicant: 4 kids Vo: sorry you are not qualified to be issued visa at the moment. Critical question: Is the budget sheet supposed to be from the doctor or hospital? I have even seen some examples here where people write it by hand. Isn’t it just to show a total based on the different costs of medical and non medical expenses? The applicant even added another $15k for emergencies and showed account statements that more than covered that. |

AdomMum: Hi house, a quick question please. In the past, has travelling days before or days after the 4th of July (America's Independence) affected the mood of CBP officers at POE? It's a sincere question please and your responses will help me pick a favourable travel date. Thank you all in advance *smiles* Meanwhile, any recent POE experience at Washington Dulles...please share. Gracias! I don’t see why. Travelling the day of (4th) might increase your chances of meeting someone who is upset that they have to work on a holiday. But still, I don’t foresee it affecting your interaction with them. 1 Like |
