Chars1289, thanks a lot for your swift response. I think I should concentrate on the on the new business name and wait for its Tax maturity before applying so as to avoid any TAX certificate issue whilst I try to provide more backups for my current business status and other ties. Thanks ones again.

Chars1289, thanks for your response. I ve been to page 70 but I case am d owner of the company and I don't have any other personal tax clearance and the company have been out of business ever since but the bank account is still active that why I intend to still use it for my next application since that what they already have in their system all through my previous application. I just registered a new business name but it is not up to one year for taxing. so am still contemplating on using that but my issue is with the TAX CERTIFICATE and the inconsistency.

Hello guys, pls I need to obtain a german business visa anytime soon but my friend told me that the embassy now request for TAX CLEARANCE which the company I used for my previous 3 issued visas which I traveled with does not have a current one. The last TAX certificate expired in 2006 and has not been renewed. My question is this: Is it now mandatory to provide a current TAX CERTIFICATE because for the 3 times I went for interviews and was issued those visas (last in 2009), I never included it and was not asked to provide any TAX document. Please if anyone knows what the current situation is, I am willing to be advised appropriately.

nattyspice, thanks for your reply. I also have 2 used shengen visas from german embassy on my old passport and one un-used on my e- passport which has also expired. I intend to get a new passport which I ll use for my next application. I would have preferred applying through German embassy since I got my 3 shengen visas through them but my problem now is with the Tax Clearance which they now request for. I don't mind if you have any idea on how to go about this TAX CLEARANCE wahala.

Hello nattyspice, I am interested in going through the spanish embassy but I have no idea of what their visa requirements are. pls can you give me a brief brake down of the application processes you followed I.e the list of documents you submitted. Most importantly, I will like to know if a TAX CLEARANCE is a must required and how do I get an invitation letter as I do not have any relative in Spain.

Hi tzetzefly, am so greatful for your response to my enquiry. I understood all you have said, but my main problem now is how to locate an international conference that relates to what I do here in Nigeria. I am into interior wood works (furniture) right now but I don't mind if you have any knowledge of conferences in this particular area that you can link me with.
On the other hand, I am married with kids. I also like to know if a renewed international passport will be acceptable for application.
Thanks.

Please I will like to know the easier method of obtaining an invitation letter to france since I do not have anyone over there. How does a paid conference invitation work and what are the processes of getting one as I intend to apply for a shengen visa through the french embassy.
On the other hand, I want also find out if a renewed international passport will be accepted during my application.
Thanks.
