This is where Nigeria security agencies need more of technological based investigation and draper intelligent gathering, firstly, when terrorist kidnapped large numbers of people in this kind of situation, they usually have informant which is part of the victims, and he also stays with them and maltreated same way as the victims, why is this guy killed after his release should trigger neccesary agency to start looking deap, but then, that doesn't meant all I have written is true, if his death is natural, may his soul rest in peace.

LadiIshola:
I thought all power generated are to be first transmitted to the national grid before redistributing? Why generate locally, transmit and also distribute locally? Does this make sense? I stand to be corrected though.

The town is powered by sub-station, the town will barely consume 2mw of electricity,

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Should I Resign From My Job? by mech2021(m): 1:52pm On Aug 14, 2021
My oga almost hit me last two weeks, embarrassed me in front of other lower workers, just because I didn't reconfirm before I made a decision even though we had previously discussed it and he approved it, you see, I did something that even me my self was surprised after all, I told him am sorry and his face changed, then after about few minutes, I looked at my self and I was happy, me of before, my oga will regret and that's end of job for me, am a different man entirely, when I discussed it with my wife, she told me that's the man I have become and she has noticed that about me for over a year now. am currently looking for a new opportunity now, but before then, I will keep my calm as much as possible, hunger is real. my advise for you is this, if you have other better ways of meeting up your financial obligations while you are out of job, I will advise you resign, a toxic place of work will also impact negatively on your mental well being, if not, kindly keep your calm and be actively job hunting, this is Nigeria, you just have to help your self. finally if situation get worst and you want to break it, kindly make it count, so he/she will have respect for who else is coming after you, most boss take people for granted because of nigeria situation.

i think you should follow your wife advise by doing visiting for now until you are able to get transfer, if you get transfer to abuja, though i dont know where you work but reseach has shown work load in abuja isnt always tasky unlike lagos, most people traveled out of abuja to their respected states on fridays, you can expect your weekend to start from friday in most organisations. please when you finally leave your odd job, connect me i will be available. thanks in advance.
Travel / Re: Lagos To Roll Out 500 Last-mile Buses As Alternatives To Okada by mech2021(m): 5:48pm On May 10, 2021
For you to get the right solution to any problem, you need to go down and understand the problem better, and that's one thing government lacks at all level in Nigeria, getting through difficult & tight areas is not the only reason people prefer okada, but because its fast and easy to get in and down, this is a good ideal from lsg, but i expect this bus to have openable 4 doors including the front doors making six, by this, people wont have to wait for each other to get down when they reach destinations and its also easy for people to get in, it shoukd also be equipped with a functional central lock that can only be open from driver unless in case of emergency so driver will only open doors and by doing this, people wont run away with his money.
Health / Re: #JusticeForOmolara: Omolara Omoyajuwolo's Death & Beachlan Hospital's Negligence by mech2021(m): 5:24pm On May 10, 2021
i beat one idiot nurse some weeks back, took my wife to hospital, thy run test and she had malaria, but because she was seriously weak and could not eat, they decided to pass drip in her hand, and from there they keep given her drugs', glucose for energy etc, the first day it was about 5times, then when doctor came the second day in the morning, he told me since she can eat now and feeling better, they will only administer drugs on her in the morning & night, they gave her the one for morning, then comes the useless, rude, idiot nurse for night, she was forcing the injection through same place and my wife was in serious pain shouting, obviously that place is blocked due to long period of no flowing of fluid, then i just stood up and gave her one punch in the face, are u stupid, someone is shouting like this and u did not even find out the course of her pain u keep forcing it, then all of them start rushing down one by one, to cut the whole story short, i beat like 3 of them to the satisfaction of majority of the patients and caregivers as they also complain the nurses has attitude problem and people pay a lot in the hospital, this does not mean we should beat every nurse, they are to save life not to take one.
Travel / Re: Relocation From Abuja To Jos City by mech2021(m): 3:38pm On May 04, 2021
Well, the truth is no one will know the best decision for you except your self, you know your financial status, family, etc, majority of people have said the truth, jos is a lovely place to live in Nigeria, its a city in north you can get absolutely everything you need.as for security, no where is 100% secure in Nigeria now, as for cost of living, its on the rise in every part of Nigeria now due to insecurity everywhere. back to the question, i was in jos for the last 8years, I recently relocated back to Lagos last year July due to completion of the project i went for, it was hard decision for me because of the love i have for city of jos, compared to Lagos where i was working before i got posted to jos, i got married in jos and i have a son, i wanted us to stay back and look for another job, but my wife disagree, all our family are in south west, its very difficult to attend family functions due to distance, then i was able to agree with her, baba just one month after i got to Lagos i got a job that's X 5 salary i was collecting before and my wife got a job as well and it makes settling down back to Lagos more easier. i give God all the glory, now am saying all this for you to take into consideration in your decision making, you will enjoy good life in jos but opportunity will be limited, but in Abuja, if you work your way very well and pray harder, you will get connected easily, that doesn't mean people don't get connected in jos, but you need to look at the number. if your office didn't give you transfer, just chill a little while, don't rush to take decision, i will not advise relocating madam to jos while you work in Abuja, apart from you will be paying double house rent, Abuja to jos is good 4hrs or thereabout, so its not just where you can go as you want especially with level of insecurity in the country. and one of the things that break up marriages this days is when husband & wife live far apart. wish you all the best.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Will You Receive A 25k Salary With An Msc Degree Because You Can't Get Job? by mech2021(m): 8:55am On Apr 09, 2021
Dont let all this motivational speakers give you unnecessary confidence, yes people accept jobs that the pay is not okay if the experience you will get is valuable, but then not like 25k job, what can that do in Nigeria of today with the level of inflation? forget about Msc or no Msc. well firstly which course did you study? if you can cope with 25k, then that shows you have some level of financial stability already or support from relatives, use that time to go for relevant trainings, that will establish you, for example you can go for training on house wiriring and electrical installations, a lot of estate are coming up and lots of people in nigeria are building houses, if you have this experience you can even get contract, before you see you have your own team and even paying people with your level of education you can handle that.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Should He Accept The Job Offer Or Not? by mech2021(m): 10:47am On Apr 06, 2021
Well it on depend on the person, my first job, i spent 10yrs in jos, plateau state, and during my stay, there were different crisis and it was even the time bomb blast was very rampant, but with the mercy and grace of God, nothing happened to me, only God can protect a man, even inside your bedroom, death can still come. for those who are saying you should fly, plane no dey crash?, well going back to the business, my advise is, if you are married, especially with kids, resign and look for another job, Maiduguri no be small journey wey you fit rush come home even with flight, you must have built some connections during your time working in the bank, God will give you a new job, i lost my job during the lockdown, and with help of God and relationships i have built, i got a new job, i was called back at my formal place of work, but this time to work in abuja, as for me am done with north unless for business or appointments or politics, now i have wife and kids, the story is different. but if you ae single, you can still go ahead and keep working on your transfer, as a single man, you can always maneuver your ways. wish you all the best.
