Reach out to me and I can walk you through linking your old account to a new one. I hope that may help but not guaranteed.
Anonymity777:
I need your candid advice please.
I contacted an agent to help me process a Canada study visa for my self. To cut the long story short, The visa has been approved and the agent has been fully paid, i have my passport with me already but she has refused to drop all log in to both the visa portal and to the email for receiving messages from IRCC. She has even refused giving us letter of introduction which is an important document for traveling. I don't have the LOI I remember asking her about it earlier on but she declined to provide it to me, I have gone to VFS twice but they said they can’t help. although they verified the authenticity of the visa because i gave them my passport to verify, they asked me to go and sort things out with my agent, i am due to travel for my program by January, but as it stands i am helpless, this is already freaking me out guys! she has refused to pick my calls, she is nowhere to be found, all efforts to reach her has proved abortive and even sent a message, claiming to have traveled out of the country,
please what can be done? Help me out here

Biko,do I pay for the application fee before applying?
Even before submitting transcript
At the end of the application form, once you click submit it would prompt you to pay $cad75 to complete your application.

Yes, you don’t need the transcript yet. You will get further instructions once your application is processed.

Give the selfless people the appreciation they deserve. Not hailing those agents here. And calling them gurus. Those agents are here to make money

So I understand your displeasure with deceiving ignorant and new visitors with fake PPR timelines. I think it is really dishonest.

But I don't see anything wrong with monetizing your knowledge and skills.

F.D I have been a part of this community since 2016 and learnt a ton of things because I dedicated time and resources to read through from the beginning of the Canadian Student visa thread. And all the numbers of applications I have worked on turned out successful- all thanks to this group and personal efforts.

So don't expect that everyone will give services free.

Another FD, I am researching the GCMS note third-party market, and if I find a niche-based need for applicants that I am interviewing, I will go into the business, and it will not be free! And I will seek clients from here

DO YOU HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA , NSCC ADULT LEARNING PROGRAM ——- what does it mean?

I don’t know about uploading your waec result, but I believe the school will send you further instructions after you have paid your application fee and the application is processed

You only need to show proof of funds for 1 year! Even Dangote doesn't have money lying around in advance for 4 years. How many Canadians can pay their tuition without funding?

There are other variables a VO considers when accessing an application. It is holistic and not just proof of funds. Why was Yemi Alade’s visa denied?

olokings:
you are not considering other critical factors such as source of funds being stable enough to continually provide income to the applicant over the duration of their study. if it is someone whose source of income will be significantly impact due to his absence from duty post during study, you think it will be illogical to ask for providing PoF for the duration of the study. So after paying you 1st year tuition, and consuming your cost of living for year 1. what happens to your welfare if you are unable to secure a well paying employment, or things turn around for your income / sponsor since they only showed 1 year PoF.

Let us just reason this thing and look at it from a third party point of view without sentiments. These VOs are plain objective and logical beings... some may be linient and consider the overall weight of your eligibility points, that doesnt invalidate the individual requirements and their criticality when packaging your application. Lets be direct with our consideration too.

How long does it take for the school to acknowledge and process transcript sent to them?

5-10 business days. You can also verify from your application portal in the To Do section. The status will change from “document required” to “no to-do required” or something like that
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by meemeelisco(f): 3:52pm On Oct 10, 2022
This is misleading.

You only need to show proof of fund for the first year of study (not times 4)

And proof that source of fund will be consistent and available to cater for the other years

Bobomaigida:

Someone has given you a breakdown before, it is not only about the tuition, since you are going for a four year course, you are ideally supposed to show the

Tuition = 18,000 * 4 = 72,000
Living expense = 10,000 * 4 = 40,000
Miscellaneous = 3000* 4 = 12,000
Total = 124,000 at the official IRCC rate as of Friday of 0.00317780 = N39,020,706 This amount is the mininum your sponsor should have in addition to excess that he can use for his expenses in Nigeria. So, if your uncle has N50m then on paper you are good to go.

To address the issues of Fake PPRs and maintain the purpose of the unique group, I am proposing a standardized format for sharing PPR Status. This way, information can easily be collated, and further data analysis can be performed. You can easily forecast application trends. For example, you will notice eligibility has started for most June applicants recently, including mine.

So happy that real PPR testimonies are flowing today, and congratulations in advance to everyone expecting.

Please, I need a lot of input on this question that I have been wondering about for a while. It is about the GCMS note. I understand it is vital to know how your application is going. But when is the recommended time to apply, putting the processing time in mind?

A. As soon as you submit
B. Midway through the application processing time
C. When the application passes the official processing time
D. When your application gets refused
E. When your application is approved.
F. You don't care for it.

Application submitted since June 24th and no gadamn update from CIC.

I am bringing up these questions again as more people get updates on their application.

All these back and forth about bursting agents here is becoming tiring. People should be observant to not fall into preying hands. I just wanna read genuine PPR timelines and if you can, let me know your response to the question below.

Congratulations Redmuse! Do you have strong travel history?
Redmuse:
Visa Approved!!!!

I have been a silent reader and observer. I am dropping this to encourage others on this wonderful platform who are waiting for PPR or waiting to even start the entire process. I am 38 years old with a study gap of 13years. I completed the masters program admission and visa application process myself.

Here is my timeline:
Application Submitted: 11th July
Biometrics: 14th July (updated on 22nd August after an email and webform)
Upfront medical: 20th July (updated on 29th August after an email and webform)
Eligibility started: 10th September
BVL: 10th September
PPR: 10th September

Due to the school enrollment deadline, I have already deferred my admission to the next intake which is within the 150days timeframe.

I pray that good news will locate everyone else still waiting.

Rahmeekadigz, sorry about the delay. Put yourself together and reapply.

I have a question for you. When you received the GCMS note stating that you needed to provide a transcript/diploma and your financial statements weren't clear, did you respond? Did you provide/update these documents via Webform before a decision was made on your application?
