Was it reregistered? Maybe it is second registration because that’s ridiculous and you should be able to differentiate between a car used for that long and recently registered. When they tell you things like this, ask them is it first registration? Tell them to snap a part of the custom paper showing the date on the custom, that will expose them. Also some owners don’t give dealers accurate information, when a car owner give a dealer a wrong information, that is what he or she will spread out as well.

💯! The mechanics are the problem also there is this "hearsay” they said Honda is bad, they said Volkswagen is bad, they said ds, they said that. Engine wise, interior, performance you can’t compare a Honda to a Toyota.

Some dealers will accept and sell it to you, if you want it cheaper than this sef, you will see but remember (it is ChEAP for a reason) as for me I walk away. If your budget cannot guarantee quality i move on.

I am an importer and I buy good cars from IAA $ Copart but the dollar exchange rate & clearing fee has really dealt a big blow on Importation these days however (we still get orders) the demand for registered cars are on the all time high right now. If you are looking at buying a car right now, there are some facts you need to know. Good cars are not CHEAP, cheap cars are cheap
for a reason(it may be a stolen car). Your budget must match your request. Do your due diligence, don’t put all your trust in your mechanic (most come to negotiate).

I disagree, you determine how faster you want to be driving a manual car because you are in charge of it(speed). There is no short cut to that in automatic. Recently, I was trying to overtake a truck and my automatic took all the time to switch gears, a manual car would have done it within a twinkle of an eye. That’s my take !

I agree with you boss, people still do things for validation these days. A friend needed a car and he reached out to me. He owns a cleaning service, so I told him to get a 2-in 1 car that could serve two purposes but he was against that idea. The funds on him could not get what he was requesting, I told him to get what his budget could buy but he opted for another deal. He got the car, but he is owning roughly N1.6m that he does not have an idea of how to raise it. The truth is that you are not in competition with anyone. Most people in ibadan are ashamed of buying a Micra because they use it for public transportation but Micra has almost lowest fuel consumption😂now that fuel is at N600 plus, they cannot drive their v6/8. There is no shame in buying a small car, it is your money.
