It is with great sadness in my heart that I am writing this piece. Sometime ago on here, I made a complaint sometime back on this thread about my involvement with bussy aka bootylicious.
A lot of you guys wanted to crucify me, I few of you understand. But you have no idea what has transpired and what happened to me recently because of 100k
The client I was helping,the elder sister had me arrested on Friday,I was handcuffed, embarrassed and treated like a common criminal all because of bootylicious inability to deliver or she's probably a fraudster that they claimed she is. I was asked to write a statement, then was locked up in the cell. For the first time in my life , before I was locked up, photos of myself was taken and was gonna be published and flagged as a fraud. Can you guess imagine this?
To cut the long story short, she has caused me a lot, my parents and family came around, disappointed and embarrassed. I was compelled to produce the 100k plus bail money which totalled almost 140k, now that is another gbese for me, because I had to borrow and gather the money from different friends and family.
The bootylicious is less concern, when I told her I was arrested. She only uttered what. Well she thinks she is untouchable because she is not in Nigeria. She is less concerned, event told me back then. That she couldn't use her own funds to pay back. But she can travel to the uk for a course, and that if it is true? I know she will read this post. Note people, her integrity is questionable. Normally I will reign courses and abuses on her first before I start writing this post, but I am well trained at home okay bussy.
You know what even baffled me and was my mistake, and what the police asked me. No evidence of the transaction, no mail, nothing. Where I posted here for u guys to confirm a visa for me. Nothing came up. Bussy, Bussy, Bussy. You know you have a little daughter?
I will only make you the promise because you tarnished my image and I lost a lot, knowing ow hard it is in Nigeria. And this December period where money is not out there. I indulge you bootylicious to do what is right .

Last year 2015 between the months of March and April, ABIDEMI OLAOJO posted on Nairaland available positions in an hotel in Dubai. Her Nairaland handler is bootylicious. After agreement she asked me to pay 400usd to secure the job and to make full payment after my visa comes out.

The money was made to this account name OGUNLEYE, OLULAYO FOLASADE. screenshot of payment and chats and pix are on the blog.


Since then, it has been one story or the other. First she said the company was new and yet to receive approval from Transad. Other stories she gave was send medical report, attestation of result and police character. All these I submitted but when I insist that she tells me the name of the company, she never disclosed it. She even refuse replying most of my messages. Not until June this year 2016, she claimed that she was in USA for operation and that their building in Dubai was razed down by fire now she has no where to stay in Dubai. I noticed the screenshot she sent to me the time on it was that of Dubai time zone.

Please as I write till date this lady hasn't replied any of my messages.

To crown it all, the last time I had a chat with her on Whatsapp, she said she doesn't care if any one reported her on Nairaland or anywhere else when I asked her for a refund. Please if you were scammed by this lady let's ensure we don't let her get away easily like that. And to ensure he or she doesn't keep scamming others.

Don't be too quick to judge. Even if it was advertised at 70k, the scammer will still scam him.

I hope OLX knows their site has been used to perpetrate evil and is a scam channel for some unscrupulous Nigerian youths who see nothing wrong in fleecing their fellow Nigerians of their hard earned cash.

@OP, you could trace the scammer by involving the police to approach his bank or mobile operator with the numbers listed. However, since it is just 10k, I don't know if you wanna go through all that trouble for petty theft (the scammer must have been banking on this, imagine scamming 20 people of 10k a day for 30days, that's 6 million naira monthly, 72 million naira annually. choi OLX!)

You are right he could scam more persons and the more reason why I had to expose it here on nairaland to prevent others from falling victims. As a matter of fact when I told some of my friends they were surprised because truth is that they depend on me for most of their online transactions and business. Like I wrote earlier it was a pressure from a buyer that I should buy on his behalf that made me place the order hurriedly.

Go to where you paid the money to his account, then report to the bank and his account will be placed on HOLD, then you will see he will refund your money sharp sharp, a friend of mine recovered his money like that.

Well before you start raining abuses no one is too wise to be a victim. Mind you I have been into online business for years and never fallen victim. I had pressure from a friend who wanted me to buy on his behalf even if I told him this would be a risk since I haven't seen the person before I just tried to believe someone for once ok?

I have had too good to be true offers from aliexpress and alibaba and turned down their offers and was able to import from a genuine seller/dealer. It is not a crime to speak up, this would help others from getting scammed okay?

Have you not one time or the other be played before? And mind your statement I bought a laptop recently for 30 thousands and if I tell you it is new you would believe me. November and December is a period for sales. So think before you talk Mr. No It All and Wisest Man on Earth.
