You don't need a new B.SC with a 2:2 you can get Masters in the UK in one year then apply for Canadian PR
Qudkom:

1. Age matters***
2. Try a post baccalaureate program
3. A non relative member can sponsor you if you can proof the relationship between you and the sponsor.

If your CRS score is high, go for canadian PR ot post graduate in Canada, if you go to the UK for your Masters during the two year post grad apply for canadian PR after your course definitely. All the best

Good evening house, this is my first time posting here. I will really need advises as regards me schooling abroad this year 2020.

I am 26 years and I have 4 years banking experience, is it advisable I go for my masters in the UK with the new intended 2 years post study visa, or I apply for Canada PR or go for my postgraduate in a Canadian school.

Your honest answers will be appreciated.

Amarapearl:
Good day, I am glad to be here, please I have a question and would be glad to get a response from my learned colleagues grin. I am undergoing my MBA from a university in UK and will be through by the first quarter of 2021.

However, I recently developed a flair for the nursing profession and would like to apply for an undergraduate study in Canada.

I am in my early thirties and have been working for the past 7 years so I am going to sponsor myself. My question is would the career switch raise an eyebrow with the VO and what other information do you think that I will need.

Thanks

Hi Amara, thankfully you do not need to apply for an undergraduate nursing program as there are graduate entry masters in nursing programs that grants you registration after completion. Feel free to E-mail me for more information.
Cheers

Thank you so much and congratulations on your degree
Raymondeji:

Hi, I just completed my BSc nursing from ACU, got the admission straight from Nigeria after a degree. I have to admit things have changed and might be more difficult to achieve. However, you could still get it done with a very convincing GTE statement focused on the reason for change in career path. Doesn't have to be true.....just convincing and believable.

Alternatively, you could further with a masters in your career path, get into Australia and find your way from there. The only issue here is that it might be a bit of a challenge to change (I du=ont have much experience regarding that), but you can find you way into other courses with PR pathway. Good luck

Good morning house, has anyone gotten an admission for nursing at any level in Australia from Nigeria?

Everyone knows a nursing degree is a one chance skill to the abroad even if you have intentions of returning to improve your country is this adverse to a GTE requirement?

I have a non nursing health bachelors from the UK and I am thinking of going for a graduate entry nursing program in July 2020.

Any advice from anyone, preferably one who has gotten an admission to study nursing in Australia.

Cheers and may more visa grants happen as the year ends and the year ahead.

Amen!

Do you have any more info on this? MOST AL1 Universities are the big shot, they are considered low immigration risk university
sirgigs:
A friend emphasised i go for an AL1 university. He says this because i only need to share a sponsors bank statement with the school diring their GTE Assessment stage.

That during the visa application process i will not be required to upload a my Sponsors bank statement again.

Guys, is this true?
What is an AL1 university in Australia?

Whats the policy on dependents immigration after the primary applicant is granted visa

We are trying to get a study visa for my wife for masters in public health, she has a medical degree from ukraine already. Thing is we were thinking that we would all be able to go together, Her, myself and the two kids. So now we hear that she has to apply alone and go first and after about a month, myself and the kids can now apply as dependants with reference to the visa given to my wife.

Looking for advice, she has her admission and just waiting for CoE to make the visa application. Thanks.

Frankrobbn1:

You've a good profile to secure a study visa to Canada given that your parents will be the one sponsoring your education and you're a fresh graduate coupled with the fact that you've attained a good travel history which would also count as a positive factor in the visa officer's assessment of having travelled and returned home. Thus, you shouldn't because of the fear of high visa rejection then decide not to pursue your educational goal of studying in Canada. More importantly, you should always take into account that no two applications are the same. Every applicant's cases are unique and as such treated differently based on the visa officer's perspective... I would strongly recommend you give Canada a better shot (i.e an airtight application) and while doing so, also explore other countries like Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland etc.. At the end, you will be using one stone to kill two birds. Whichever that turns out in your favour, then becomes your study destination.

In conclusion, I will advice you kick start the plans of furthering your education as soon as possible as Master's in Public Health program (MPH) is a very competitive one in Canada with limited spaces and the admission deadline is around the corner.

It will end in praises
This is super helpful Frank, thank you so much. I will do as advised.

Silent thread readers association!

I hail o, greetings everyone and to all the people holding it down, you're highly appreciated.

With all the refusals recorded is anyone seriously thinking of an alternative country or still willing to risk it for Canada?
I have a BSC from the UK( Dec 2019), I am considering a Masters in Public Health from Canada.
I am 26years and newly married.
I have a good travel history and no visa refusal recorded however with the ongoing skoi skoi at the Canadian embassy, I am contemplating if I should go ahead or not.

I will appreciate any advice.

I pray God's grace make our dreams reality
