Goodmorning house! I got a mail from visainfo, sheffield, that a decision has been made on my application and that it will be available for. collection at the center where I submitted 3-5 days after receipt of the mail. But it's 5days today and I haven't gotten any mail from teleperformance neither has my application been updated on their site. What do you guys advise I do? I submitted in V.i. Should I just go there and check or keep waiting for a mail from telepermance? Has anyone experienced this before? Pls help me out

It's not an interview. I'm going for submission of my docs. We were given a time. Reason I'm asking is to know if one will be attended to on how early you came even if it's before the time or if we will be attended to at exactly the given time regardless of who has been waiting there for long

Good evening, I applied for visa 2 yrs ago and was denied visa on the grounds that I stated I don't have friends or family over there and I don't have a dependent in Nigeria. Also that they found some money in my account which they don't think will be for my use cause it was outside my salary and I didn't state any other source of income. So on this grounds, they said that I may not come back. To cut the long story short, I want to apply again this year with my younger sister for a tourist visa. And since it will be me and my sister, I want to use my dad as a sponsor. He has millions in his account,a company and land documents. My question is will that be enough to prove that I will come back? Will it favour me or will be against me since I am working and earn salary. Or should I use my own bank account and company which I used for my application last 2yrs and which is also sufficient? Also, how do I process my application, so they will know I'm traveling with my sister. Thanks a lot

Romance / Re: I Have A Fear Of Dating Nigerian Men, Help! Please? by mellad(f): 9:11am On Oct 31, 2013
Princessmel:

Well I clearly don't even feel the need to date Nigerian men anymore, I guess anonymousbaby was right

My dear pls dnt mind d guys on Nairaland most of them are immature. I'm a Nigerian and currently dating a Ghananian.Despite all sorts I hear and read about Ghananian men, mine is different.I live in Nigeria while he is in Accra,we travel to see each oda and we love ourselves. What I'm saying in essence is that reality is different from social media.Meet a real and matured Nigerian guy and I'm sure u will love him not all dese bunch of ignorant people trying to degrade u. I av also met some Ghananian guys on social network who just opened their mouth saying trash but personaly I have found out that not all Ghananians are what I have read about dem and seenn. The few I have met are nice, caring and loving people. So no matter what I hear or see some Ghanians display der bad behaviour here,I rily don't care, its d persons's personality not the tribe or Nation. In conclusion my dear dnt judge the average Nigerian guy but what u see here,Nigerian guys are good

I'm so sick of all these so called hatred btw Ghanians and Nigerians. I'm a Nigerian and have been to Ghana several times. The reason why I think Ghanaians don't like Nigerians is because we too they show ourself and then some few bad ones go there to spoil our reputation but Ghanaians that doesn't mean all Nigerians are the same.Despite all I have been reading about Ghana, I still have wonderful friends from there. No beef btw us and I always feel at home whenever I am there. I love Ghana a lot and I wish we could see ourselves as one just like me and my Ghananian friends

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Etisalat Customer Care Job by mellad(f): 11:44pm On Aug 25, 2013
Congrats to everyone dat has been called. As for me I'm already planning to resign(i resumed work in november).D job is very stressful, robotic n with a lot of rules, aside dat d confirmation is now 18months and no longer 6mnth which means for one n half yrs,one will keep earning 60k while d full staffs u do d same job with earns up to 90 n some even 100 and sometin. I'm not trying to discourage anyone here but for me,it isinit worth d stress. Many of u wouldn't understnd wat d job entails until u start(its more dan just pikin calls n I tell u its not easy at all) well still beta dan staying at home and also finding passion for wat u do. I dnt like n enjoy d job at all. How I wish I culd give mine out to one of u guys.Best of Luck
