candiva2013: myus.com is expensive. They charged me 145 dollars for a package of 6kg

shocked Wow!!! Are you serious? That's a lot of dollars for just 6kg.

Did they consolidate your orders or shipped it in pieces?
Business / Re: Cargo From US To Nigeria (Jos, Abuja) by melvinna(f): 11:56am On Oct 18, 2013
MrMexs007:

I started using them sept 8, 2013 and have airlifted 4x currently processing my 5th.my experiences have being fantastic as far as purchasing, consolidation at my USA address and airlifting to Nigeria is concerned. The story changes at the airport because of customs and frankly that is not the fault of myus.com because they tell you from the word go, 'verify from your local customs authority duty on imported goods'. You can buy items from any PayPal site as long as you have a membership subscription with them, (They accept nigerian issued debit card NGR or USD) as they will make the purchases on your behalf ,all you need do is VERIFY the seller 1st before instructing myus.com to process payment for you because frankly if you request an item to be purchased on your behalf from a seller who has no positive rating and in the end you don't get the item would that be the fault of myus.com?

American business that are legit have what is called a BBB rating and myus.com has a BBB+ rating which tells you all you need to know as far as legitimacy of an American company is concern. To avoid delay of you shipment when they arrive Nigeria get a customs agent to process your clearing once that is done the courier company which you may have instructed Myus.com to air lift will deliver to you.

Thanks for the breakdown. Do you think i'd have to pay custom for a few cosmetic products? If so, like how much would that be?

(sorry for being a bother *covers face*)

Is there anyone here who shop online stores in USA?
Business / Re: Cargo From US To Nigeria (Jos, Abuja) by melvinna(f): 2:18pm On Oct 14, 2013
MrMexs007: @ ericosa: Thank you..MyUS.com have got me covered. wink

I've read some bad reviews on MYUS.com, especially about custom processing. What is your own experience and how often do you use them please.

I've been searching for a safe and reliable way to ship from US for a while now.

Thank you.

@pumpkin88 i would first ask, 'are you in Nigeria'? If the answer is Yes, good. I am a makeup artist and also had your problem at a time, going from cream to cream trying to get one that will not 'bleach' your skin and also not make it dark. After so many trial by errors i stumbled on this product and was i glad i did?! My skin tone is even, the texture is firm and supple and the one i love most, my dark eye circle is all gone!!

This is an all natural product that is soooo good i can give you a 30 days money back guarantee.

Send me a mail on melvinnainc@gmail.com so you can be rid of this problem forever.

Eyeliner Basics! There are 3 main types of liner - pencil, liquid and gel. Pencil liner is great for your waterline and tight-line because it's the most controlled form of liner, it's also nice for smokey looks because it's smudge-able. Gel is much easier to apply than liquid liner, but you have to use an extra brush. A liquid liner can draw the skinniest, sharpest and shiniest line but has the least control!

Now day lot's of company already mentioned out expiry date of product at date, otherwise your tips would be awesome towards checking out when your cosmetic expiry,

Have you ever bought a powder, foundation, lipstick or mascara that carries an expiry date. The answer is no, because they don't. Most makeup (unlike every other normal product) don't carry their expiry date.

Face it, nails are important. These days you can walk into a nail salon and find loads of brands and polishes to choose from. Nail brands like OPI, Sally Hansen and Essie are releasing seasonal collections like designer ready-to-wear. This season one of the trends rocking the runways is the Nude color manicure and Half moon manicure.

DID YOU KNOW? Using a powder puff or foundation wedge for more than 2 weeks without washing can cause a breakout of acne. If you have sensitive skin use baby shampoo and warm water to wash your beauty tools and do wash often.

DID YOU KNOW? Modern mascara was created in 1913 by a chemist named T. L. Williams for his sister, Mabel after watching her apply Vaseline to her lashes. This early mascara was made from coal dust mixed with Vaseline petroleum jelly. The product was a success with Mabel. His company Maybelline, a combination of his sister's name and Vaseline, eventually became a leading cosmetics company.

Like every manufactured product, our makeup and skincare products also have a shelf life. Most don’t carry this date on their packs but it’s necessary to know when our fav mascara becomes a breeding ground for bacteria, so that what we bought to make us beautiful does not end up becoming the source of disease and pain. . Imagine using year old mascara and getting a red eye from it…not fab right?

Eddie4:

@johnterry2. Why d comparism? Do u have any idea wat american babes do to be 'beautiful'? Our Naija babes are beautiful without any laser or scapel, so never u be decieved into such comparism

@ Eddie4 thanks for educating @johnterry2. Don't believe everything you see. Most of those american girls u call beautiful have gone for one cosmetic surgery or the other. Naturally every woman; either Caucasian, African or Asian is prone to cellulite, stretch mark, acne etc

The 53rd Grammy Awards held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles California has come and gone, but the different images from it will linger for a while some forever. Like Lady Gaga's entrance in an Egg, Rihanna's peek-a-boo dress and Nicki Minaj's leopard ensemble.

Well defined eyes with a brush of eyeshadow and a stroke of eyeliner can't be really attractive without a dash of mascara. An ultimate lash defining makeup product that gives that much needed finishing touch to your eye makeup is nothing but the All-Mighty Mascara. Don’t you just envy Betty Boop and Kim Kardashian for their long, thick and dark lashes (amongst other things…sigh!)? Don’t you just wish you could seduce your man just by batting your eyelashes like Marilyn Monroe does? YES YOU CAN! Ladies, there are several ways to enhance your God-given lashes for that extra drama.
