Thank you very much
I just want to know about the screening process; the format (post utme or not) , the time etc.

Okay, well... things could change. 19/20 set did an exam, the two sets after that did not. They just assessed the o'levels and UTME scores and computed scores based on that. If he has reasonably strong scores he should be alright, either way it goes.

Can one combine programming (coding) with medical school?..
If yes how?

It's not impossible. I think a good first step is community. You can't be surrounded by medics 24/7 and not feel the pressure to drop the tech things.

I'm trying to do the same thing (looking towards Health Tech), and what I'm basically trying to do now is surround myself with Tech people and preferably even Medics in Tech.
E.g. There should be a Google Developer Students Club in your school. Might be a good place to start.

And of course there'll be need for a lot of balancing/prioritization/time optimization. Medic & Tech are time-demanding individually. Combined? Well...

But try and see what works for you. Would like to learn too.

Since your God can't protect you guys then it's more than necessary to do the search...if you don't wanna get searched then sit in your house.. wink

God/gods are so weak that they can't protect their children..I mean you claim to serve a lifeless God and he was alive to watch you slaughtered on a Sunday serving him..let's say as the Christians would..he did it for a reason..the Christian God is a clown nothing else..a mass murderer he is..and some persons keep on serving something they created.. undecided grin

Man created the concept of God...For you only see humanoids claiming of his existence and literally nothing else...Plus if individuals noticed the concept of “god/God” changes every generation... grin
Man created God in his own image so pls it's high time y'all dish him in the waste bin where he belongs... cheesy

CAN WE NOW ACCEPT THE FACT THAT GOD IS DEAD? grin

Of course, it's very easy to blame God. He's at fault for everything everytime. Very convenient. His inabilities and powerlessness are to blame. Even his inexistence makes it even better.

Btw, we have two eyes to see. Not one.
Music/Radio / Looking For Someone To Fix Musical Keyboards by memd: 7:42pm On May 31, 2022
Hello here.
Please I'm urgently in need of someone who can fix musical keyboards around Agbado Ijaye, possibly between now and Friday.

They're small keyboards, 3 Casio and 1 Yamaha PSR-175. We use them to teach keyboard lessons. They were abandoned for a while and poorly maintained, so I don't really know what the issue with them could be.

Anyone that can check them out will be appreciated.

Kinda urgent

Religion / Re: My Cross Over Experience In A Popular Nigerian Church by memd: 6:42pm On Jan 01, 2022
One goes to church, the "presence of God, " as said, with the intent of rededicating one's life to God,
Only to get there and encounter intense struggles with lust
Then... What do we have left in the church? Might as well have gone to a club or something to view whatever sights the eyes longed for.
One goes to church to rededicate their life to God,
Only to come back with tales of "bra-less women" and "flashy clothings" and "erection-inducing appearances..." as the primary experience.

Nothing of the Word, nothing of His Presence.

So... What does the church have left to offer, if it is unsafe for people who need rededicating? They come hoping for some respite, but they're rubbed in the face by the exact thing they've tried to escape.

I just wonder, what do we have left in the church?

Okay, fine, there's freedom, God loves everyone, worship God as you like. But whatever happened to the warnings against those things that "make thy brother to offend?"

Again, I just wonder.

Therefore, being Justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5v1).
To be justified by God means, just as if you've not sinned.

She was wrongly taught, such practice is not in line with the New Testament practices.

That doesn't negate restitution sir/ma. It might be painful now, but when it heals, the peace she'll feel concerning the matter will be an eternal one. She will be able to boldly stand up anywhere and say, "I did the right thing."

She never has to deal with the fear of "getting caught" anymore.

Bottomline: It might be all dark and dreary now for sure(it's three years of efforts wiped off), but she'll come out with "peace, perfect peace."

But tbh, the situation could have been better managed.

My opinion: give her a chance to get another o'levels as a criterion for graduation. Then the counterfeited can be replaced with the new one. That encourages more people to come out. The way it's been done now... well... nobody likes that kinda "humiliation."

Health / Re: Dr. Paul Enenche Working From 20th Floor Of Trump Towers (Pictures) by memd: 5:50pm On Oct 24, 2021
BiggyB242:

I stop going to church for a while now though I still believe in God. When I see men of God, I just feel this church thing has become a business.

Someone gave me a pamphlet at the back I saw a testimony about a woman who said she was diagnosed with fibroid. She refused to go for an operation, a few days later during a program she was healed. My thought was if she had the money for the operation do you think she was would have waited.

If this pastor's wife was diagnosed with fibroid won't she be flown abroad the next day for the operation. Sometimes we need to ask ourselves certain questions.

Why is it you seem to have overlooked the part that this woman actually did get healed?

You have stopped going to church because... why? Okay you didn't actually state a reason.
You believe in God? You believe the Bible is the word of God?

He said, "If you love me, keep my commandments."
One of those is "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together."

So, sir, I do not know why you've withdrawn from church, but that's not much the issue. We are to worship God in spirit and in truth, but there's still the place of fellowship and communion.

Do 'pastors' offend you? Why? We do know there will be false prophets, yes, no one denies that. But does that mean they all are false prophets?

Probably, we have these opinions because these well-known Men of God are financially doing excellent. But the truth is that there is no one that will give himself to God and not be blessed. "Seek ye first... all other things will be added."

These men cannot but be blessed. If everyone stopped paying offerings, it won't hinder their blessings. For Elijah, it was a poor widow woman God used, and the woman never remained poor herself. Even when there was no one, God used a raven to supply Elijah's meal. You cannot give yourself wholly to God and not partake of the bounties of heaven.

So, all these talk about men of God being business men...? Again, there are false prophets, but they all aren't. By their fruits you shall know them. That fruit is not prosperity. True prosperity comes from God.

Okay we talk about Dr. Enenche, Kumuyi, Oyedepo, Adeboye, etc, but those are just few of the popular ones. What of these many many numerous pastors of local churches that might not be as financially buoyant? Are those the ones who are really serving God because they're poor? Of course not! Even among those, there're false ones.

These giants started from those lower levels too, but God has catapulted them up there. Who are we to speak against a man whom God has chosen to honour? May we not blaspheme!

Someone mentioned that we do not need to go through any Man of God to reach God. Of course, absolutely correct! But won't you agree that there are some who have climbed to higher levels than some of us have? These men have drawn closer to God than we have, and that is why they can be channels of blessings to everyone. If you draw as close too, God can so use you even beyond these men. Jesus said we'll do greater works than this! Anyone could learn to fly a plane, but we leave that to the pilots, and we dare not complain when they get their salaries.

Why do we seem to equate serving God with poverty? You believe in God, do you believe the records of miracles in His word? Do you believe the account of the Israelites fed with manna for decades? Do you believe the account of the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes feeding 5thousand? Do you believe the money in the fish belly? Do you believe the abundance of fish that brake Peter's net?

So why is it so hard to believe that God blesses his own? Is anything too hard for God?

Sir, two questions for you and any other person who has taken the time to read this:
Do you believe in God?
The more important one: Have you tasted of God?

I leave you with Psalm 34: "Oh taste and see that the Lord is good... He'll give you everything!"

Better to abort than to bring irresponsible souls to the world.

Cases of robbery, raping and other social vices done are done by children whose dad rejected their pregnancy.

Hello ma.
When you say irresponsible soul, do you mean a fetus that was never given a chance? Is your next paragraph meant to justify that label given to a developing embryo whose brain is probably yet to form?

People will take one or two sentences out of a 1.5hrs message, and they will think they have news.
Why not listen to the whole thing and get the whole picture?
How can you possibly understand a 1.5hrs message from a clip-off that's barely 1min long?
What was he driving at? Where was he coming from? What was the main topic of discussion? Was he making an analogy? When was the message even delivered?

But no! All the smarty pants online can deduce a full message of over an hour from a section of it that's less than a minute.
Ah! undecided Then they start commenting all sorts of comments.
