Good day VO, We were interviewed last April 22, 2015 (walk in window from April 15-28) under EB3 Philippines category. We were told that there is no VISA NUMBER available. Also they sent us an email right after the interview stating that they cannot process our application because of no visa number available. Also our passports were sent back to us after a month via mail. I am worried about our medical result that is expiring this October 20. question. 1. why does consulate office announced a window from april 15-28 for those applicants whose documents are ready if they cannot give a visa. 2. if in case we were given a chance to get our visa do we need to leave for the US before our medical results expire? 3. if in case we need to repeat our medical examination what documents do we need to present to St. Lukes Medical Center? thanks in advance. |

Good day VO, My priority date is july 27, 2007 EB3 Philippines, Visa bulletin for october just released (1 jan 2007). We were interviewed last April 22, 2015 unfortunately consulate officer told us that there were no visa number available. Our passport were not returned but was set back to us after a month. My concern is our medical records will be expiring on october 22, 2015. is there a probability consular office will consider our old result? are they going to send us an instruction as to what to do next before or medical result expires? or do we need to secure a medical interview again. if so. is the fee still the same? are we going to have the xray only since we were already had the vaccination prescribed in our last medical? thanks in advance |

Good day Visa Officer, We received our interview letter scheduled for May 27, 2015 for EB3 visa category. On April 2015 we received another letter informing that our interview (may 27) is cancelled due to retrogression. However the US consulate in Manila opened a window for those applicants who completed the medical and other documents may walk in for interview from April 15-28. We were able to set an interview on April 22nd. We gave our medical result envelop, finger printing etc. done. During the interview were told the there is no visa available, and at the end of the window our passport was not given back to us. A few hours after i received an email from the embassy that they cannot proceed to process our application because there is no visa available and we need to wait for their email to instruct what we will do next. A month after our passport were given back to us thru mail saying our application still cannot be process until our priority date (july 27, 2007) becomes current. my question is.. 1. what is the probability that we will be included in the october visa quota (new quota for 2016 fiscal year) 2. do we need to go back to the consulate office and repeat the process once our priority date becomes current? 3. do we need to repeat our medical it will expire on October 22 2015 (6th month) 4. is there any chance of getting the visa this year? 5. my son will turn 21 on March next year 2016, is there a change he will miss his change to get his visa? thank you in advance |
