Nollywood Diva Shan George surprised people when she announced that she would be moving to Calabar recently. Some people assumed that she relocated to the city to take up a political appointment but, the actress has revealed that is not the reason. In an interview she granted recently, the actress revealed that she moved to Calabar to take care of her mum who is seriously ill.......


“My beloved aged mother has been sick since March 2012. She’s been bedridden with a terminal illness. As an only child, it falls on me to stay with her till the end, so to make it less burdensome; I had to relocate to Calabar to take care of her. So for now, I just want to be with my mum and look after her. Whatever happens after that is in God’s hands.”

When she was asked about the possibility of getting a political appointment there, this was here response.....

Bononline gathered that Nuella met Governor Amaechi when a Desperate Contractor who had heard several tales of Gov Amaechi sex orgy with Nollywood stars including being a major contributing factor to the collapse of the marriage of a Big Nollywood star who also fell apart from her friend who is a divorcee and has a record of being Nollywood serial lover who went behind her to sleep with the deep pocket Governor. Before I broke the report of Nuella's affair with Tchidi which was an open secret, they had been dating for many months before the report and Tchidi was a known face at her abode in
Lagos. The second man I reported she dated was international footballer Emmanuel.... whom she
visited briefly in Russia. If she claims she did not go to Russsia to drink tea then so be
it, but thank God she did not break the footballer's relationship to someone else. I quote ''The writer should be bold enough to say publicly what axe she has to grind with Nuella rather than hide behind the noble profession of journalism to execute her cheap hatchet job. No, David Mark did not buy me a car, neither did he help me with my shop in Abuja. I know him as the Senate President but I don’t know him personally. But hey, he is the Senate President! Who wouldn’t want to know him personally, but too bad at the moment I don’t.

You made the news some time ago when Kim Kardashian retweeted and replied one of your tweets. Was this a big deal for you?
I think she knows me (smiling and batting eyelids). I think she knows Chika Ike as a Nigerian actress. Honestly, when I got the reply from Kim I was wowed. Kim is someone I like very much. I like her fashion sense, her business sense, and the way she handles her fans. She is someone I can relate to in the entertainment industry because she understands being out there, being in the public eye. A lot of us don’t understand it but she understands how to handle things. When she retweeted at me, I was like “Wow!” I was hoping the tweet didn’t come from a fake account but I checked and it was a verified account and I was really happy.
