Thanks for the info.

Ok pls drop your number or email so I can contact you.
Mine is meta4ng@gmail.com.
Looking forward....

Arcayo:

What you got from NSNP is call Pre-AOR, the next message will be AOR and also asking for some documents ( POF, Ref from work, updated version of documents you submitted) it can take up to 2months then nomination mail which can take up to a month before you now get ITA,
1. I will advice you to stick with the NSNP for now reply ASAP, the more you delay the reply the longer the queue you are going to join.
2. Withdraw your current EE profile an create another one, but make sure you go through each page to write out the exact information you have there and use it to create another profile.
3. Write another IELTS if possible. NOTE NSNP takes 11months so it depends when you sent in your application and you can not use the expired IELTS when they ask you for updated documents.
4. Then you can apply to other province.

PS. Let connect, I got the same message from NSNP, I submitted my application Oct 2015, with NOC 2253

Hello House,
Thanks for your advise. I have responded to Nova Scotia yesterday....waiting for their feedback.
However, I included my previous employments....not even in my NOC. and all attempts to get reference from the 2 compnies have failed. i have visited their office, sent email with no response.
How do i prove i coulnt get references from these companies. I was a contract staff in both companies.
I have my Employment letters, termination letter in one of the company, bank statements and some pay slips. someone advised a swore an affidavit of my inability to get references.

These employments were listed in my employment sections in my profile. how do i change that to my personal activities as advised.

Thank you for your prompt advise.

dupyshoo:
You don't have to include reference letters from all your employers. You only need to include letters for the employment you are claiming points for. For instance, I only claimed points for my current job as I have been on the job for over 3 years and it worked. What I did was to remove my previous jobs from my employment section but I included them under personal activities section to avoid any misrepresentation. You will only be asked to provide reference letters for the jobs under the employment section in your account.

Have you got the severance package yet? If yes, you can attach the termination letter to show the reason for the huge lump sum in your account. If no, I don't think the letter will work as POF. You will have to wait till you are paid the severance package.

After close to a year I applied to Nova Scotia Province, I just got a mail from them to confirm if I have not received nomination from any province. I have 10 working days to respond (20th June, 2016).
I have an awaiting submission for Quebec this month (June 13th). What should I do now? Respond to Nova Scotia since I have not received any nomination? Can I run both programs that's if I get nominated by Quebec?
I am hoping to use the provincial to boost my Express Entry score as I currently have less than 340 CRS.
My IELTS expires in Sept, 2016 and my Express Entry profile expires in July 2016 since it is valid for 1 year, How do I create another one on my own as I am currently using an agent?
I would appreciate any advise and feedback.
Thanks a lot guys

Has anyone tried to apply for SINP EE category?
check if your NOC is listed for SINP,
i dont know for sure that it is still open but no harm in trying
http://www.economy.gov.sk.ca/immigration/express-entry

They talk about needing certification and licencing in the regulated field, licenced here or have to be licenced in Canada?
i dont have the required number of years to get licenced here but i have over 1 year experience required in my prefered NOC as specified by CIC.
i need clarification, i am NOC 2131.

Dear Seniors,

My wife and I took IELTS in June. Our results are stated for your advice: My wife - L-6.0, R-4.5, W-6.0, S-7.0; I - L-5.5, R-5.5, W-6.5, S-7.0. Thanks. I intend using my wife as the principal applicant for some reasons, if we are to rewrite the exams, can she take the exams alone or it is a must for both of us or I can still use my own result as a spouse?

Yes, you can still use your result as the spouse, but if She is the principal, then she has to re-take the test.
This time make sure she use materials to practise well.

You got married to a Mummy/Daddy's boy...Remember dis below?

This is a really troubling issue for me, and I need mature advices pls.

My fiance and I have bin dating for the past two years, and our wedding date is fixed, but there's a problem...He is too attached to his parents, like a little child. it amazes me that he doesn't seem to see what it's doing to our relationship.

I want him to be a man, and stand on his own. I had to talk and talk before he moved out of their house,nd get a place of his own. Now he goes to their place every week, de call him almost everyday, and he does same. I really love him,cos he's a good man, but this is one thing I can't cope with. Pls Wat do I do about this?

To me, he is not yet a man that is ready to start a family, he already has one in his parents.
If you forced him or had to tell him before he could leave his parents house....that tells it all.
let him know he has to take a decision or you might make he have to choose....

So I got married recently, and my in laws are quite religious. Last week I got a new job after waiting for so long for it... T

he problem now is, my in-laws claim they prayed about it, and I shouldn't take d job. It's at an NGO, with a beautiful package and future for me.

I also have till 2nd of July to give my answer to the regional office.

I need mature advices on how to handle this matter pls!!!

inlaws have started already on your case? well in as much as inlaws are important in marriage, the ball lies between you and your spouse.
God now speaks to him about you, so let him pray and get the answer. as for me, my wife will resume first before i tell anybody about her status.
Before long the will be telling you all your life moves as visions they saw.
Ask your husband to take a decision and it should stay with two of you as decision making is only between couples...others will only know when you have taken your stand.

My one kobo advise....take that job.

good day,

please has any1 used ETX-NG to order for transcript to be sent to WES?

To my best understanding as i have an experience with them....they only updated me that they have submitted my request and never got back to me again, their site to check my updates on how far my request for transcript was always not opening with bad error message.
I went to get an insider to help me process it and sent to ICAS which now took over 6 months to produce my ECA.
My conclusion is this, they are a fraud.
They have still not contacted me ever since.

please be wise!

For people already in the EE pool yet to apply for Provincial nomination, check if your NOC is listed for SINP, You still have a chance to apply,
http://www.economy.gov.sk.ca/immigration/express-entry

Thanks, i went through the details and it is stated there that for skilled profession, you need a certificate for your skill. i am a civil engineer with 1 year 4 months experience in construction as a site engineer. you need atleast 3 years supervised work to be able to apply for COREN.
What can i do about this?

I finally got my electronic copy of my ECA from ICAS after almost 6 months. The report has been sent by courier to me.....Now i can make my application....So excited like i got my passsport pick up mail. Anyway, that the picture i see and i know it will come to pass very soon.

By the way, I am thinking of applying to Nova Scotia but the number they are looking for is quite low about 350 slots. what are my chances and what do i stand to lose if i also apply to another province along with Nova Scotia?

looking forward to frank advises.

Thanks guys.

Who sent you message really The stories I've heard about all those other assesslment bodies ain't nice at all, seem they take like 6months to give you a final report

what actually is required from the university when WES sends them an email for verification or confirmation? Do they prepare any document or just respond to the email verified or not verified? i am feeling someone wants to job me.

the amount has not increased, its the exchange rate affecting it. naira has fallen so low. i am making up mine now before submitting

Many thanks for your kind explanation, However, all the points you raised, i am very much aware of them and my professional is under NOC Skill B. i had my ECA since 2013 As it stands, I have over 69K canadian dollars for family of 3 including the myself. my work experience in this NOC skill job B is is over 15 yrs. age 38yrs IELTS speaking 8, writing 7.5 listinig 6.5 reading 5.5 but even at "check eligibility" I inputed this scores and that of my spouse and it was marked eligible. every other details as regards to information for eligibility were all inputed. my spouse IELTS is in good standing for adatability. my MSc is almost been evaluated. Though I have applied for NSPN inunder EE becuase my profession is among those in demand in Nova Scotia.. What do you think and what is the way forward? Regards.

i think you have an excellent profile except for your reading test with a score of 5.5 if thats what you got you might need to rewrite again. you need atleast 6.0 in all test to qualify under EE. my 1kobo advise.

please have all the provincial applications out or filled already? are there others that come out mid year or so? just awaiting my ECA from ICAS is taking forever to come out before i can apply. i already have about 395 points as score. hoping to boost tjat with the provincial nomination option.
working on my POF now due to difference in exchange rate. hope that will now affect my application cos of the "having the required fund in your account for 3 months clause" i have been hearing.
please am i safe to apply within a month of making up the balance now?
hoping that the naira will wake up soonest.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

Having checked the new Ministerial Instruction {Gazette actually, this will later translate to the new Ministerial Instruction} heralding the launch of Canada's "EXPRESS ENTRY",it has not been explicitly stated that applicants without provincial nomination, Canadian Work Experience, etc {as it's been speculated by many} will not have a chance. As a matter of fact,a lot of applicants who would qualify under the current FSW Class will still qualify under the new EXPRESS ENTRY.

What has changed however is the fact that Provincial nominees and applicants with Canadian Work Experience will be given more opportunity to scale the new hurdle first before any other {This has always been the case except that the bar has been raised a bit further up}.

There will be a pool of applicants, out of which many (inclusive of people without a Canadian Work Experience or without Provincial Nomination )will be selected through the comprehensive ranking system (CRS). They will be asked to apply after nomination {Nomination is expected to take place twice every month after January 2015}.

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER YOUR DETAILS IN THE EXPRESS ENTRY PLATFORM IF

1. You don't have all the requisite documents/qualification.
2.Your IELTS is still in Progress.
3.Your ECA is still in progress.
4 You are not sure of any of your details
5 You are not ready to apply within 60 days of selection

As information entered on the EE profile will automatically form the details with which your application will be assessed by your visa office.

Remember, Express Entry does not necessarily mean:

1. Applicants without Job Offers will be automatically disqualified
2.Applicants without Canadian Work Experience will be disqualified
3.Applicants without Labour Market Impact Assessment will be disqualified

It only means all the applicants above will be considered first before any other. Trust me on this one,the 3 categories of applicants above are not in large numbers.

In the mean time, Please

1. Go ahead with your IELTS {with your spouse if you have any} and ensure you score a very high band score
2. Continue to process your ECA
3. Register your details on the official Canadian Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng
4. Continue to update your knowledge of the Express Entry http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/index.asp?expand=step1#step1
5. Continue to be part of the Nairaland thread where information is shared https://www.nairaland.com/1279130/canadian-federal-skilled-worker-program-timelines/172

Hi Everyone
I got my IELTS result and i was quite disappointed, i needed 21point. However i got Listening 7, Speaking 7.5, reading 8.5, writing 6. which resulted to 20. i am thinking of contesting it because i believe i deserve more esp. in W (particularly i used the Ryan higgins) and i will include L and S just in case. My ICAS assessment is due in January so i am not particular about time.
what are my chances of getting an improved mark?
or should i just tell my wife to sit for the IELTS?

feel free to contest it, its just N15,000. i did the same with my writing test, where i was scored 5.5 but after the remark, i was scored 6.5. so if you feel you should have a better score in your writing, you are the only one that knows how well you wrote, go ahead and contest it. it takes two months though to get a report.
my thought also.

You have nothing to worry about. Just print what you have. Since the money is coming from your savings account it will reflect your name which is a perfect thing to understand. I did the same thing too. I transfered from my account with another bank to GTB. Per RSA, there is a new law that you van access 25% of your savings. This van be a boost. I added My RSA. Account to my application to compliment gtb statement. Good luck

whats the condition under which you can access the 25%. because na with speed i go take apply for am. lol

After 2 months of applying for remarking of my writing test i did in July. British council sent me a mail that it has been processed. i went to their office to pick up my result and from the previous 5.5 i was given, it was upgraded to 6.5. meanwhile that was the reason i had to retake the test because i scored above the recommended 6.0 on others.
they never told me it would take two months until i had paid. so i just decided to write again to save time, and made a band total of 7.0.
imagine if they had marked it correctly, i wouldn't have paid for another test because i was sure of what i wrote atleast to score above 6.0 in the writting test.
i just feel it could be intentional to make people take the test more than once, thereby increasing revenue.
