Is this your first time of applying for the trancript? If yes, then you need to bug them. I think Engr Okovido is still in charge and he's not an easy person to find on seat. Maybe those Graduate assistants can help you fast track it. If you are in Benin, I'll advice you go there regularly to monitor them. Once you do that, the guy at exams and records is fast at processing things.
you are very correct, 1st time and Okovido has not been found over 1 month. someone is helping me follow up at a cost though. i pray its resolved soonest. this one they keep looking for results manually so. God help me.

Hi all,

PER received today Oct 8. June 12 applicant. NOC 0112. Debit card was charged Sept 30.

All the best to you all....

Congrats,

Anyway, since i'm still waiting for my ECA report which is the last thing before i submit, i have been updating my documents, i have renewed my passport and updated it, is it neccessary to ask my boss for an updated reference letter? though my duties have not changed. i got my reference letter in June and might submit my application end of November. is there any need to get a recently signed reference letter?

Thanks so much damkollins.
please how soon can WES assess my transcript if i submit by next two weeks. ICAS states 6 to 8 weeks for assessment that will take me into december which might not be safe for me.
so thinking of using WES.
please any UNIBEN person who has used either of them i would mind your experience as this is the only aspect keeping me from submitting my application.
thanks.

damkollins thanks so much, using your materials and only that, my IELTS score was:

Listening; 8
Reading:8.5
Writing:6.5
Speaking:7

overall:7.5

that should give me 23 points am i right or not? grin

i have also checked my Test result:
Listening: 6.5
Reading: 6.5
Writing: 6.5
Speaking: 7.5
Overall band: 7.0

Please what point does this give me?

Although, my wife also took the test and scored Listening: 7.0, Reading: 6.5, Writing: 6.0, Speaking: 7.5 with ovetall band: 7.0
I guess she is contributing 5 points to me with this.

thanks

Google it, go to CIC site for d duties. Then ask ur hubby his roles and duties...get them on his employer's letterhead and his superior should sign. My opinion only!

PS; Na u be primary applicant now?

i just went through that CIC spread sheet, saw alot of rejected applications. lets be very thorough with our checklist to ensure nothing is left out before submission.
i also saw some rejected for unable to provide evidence of performing the duties in their reference letter and Parents names not indicated in BC. please what else can serve as proof for this? as i was only given reference letter which i made request for by my technical director cos am under NOC 2131. i have my employment letter and pay slips though. anybody with this info ?please as i'm about to submit once i get my report from ICAS. thanks

shuuu, my NOC is over 100 now, i still await my school to send my transcript to ICAS, thats the thing keeping me from submitting. i just believe i might be able to submit by Nov. 2014. i just hope my NOC won't have reached its cap.
let me ask, my Int'l passport will expire end of Oct. 2014, since i might not be able to submit till after it expires. should i just update my forms with the details of the renewed passport as i have already fill the form using my current passport. please i need answers. thanks

Madam...I commend your effort and I will still encourage you to do more.
As good as your hubby's result is,the only dark spot is the reading aspect where he got 5.5.The standard requirement is that a principal applicant needs to get minimum of 6 band marks in ALL 4 language tests in a sitting.Scoring high band marks in 3 while one is less than 6 is considered insufficient for FSW application as a principal applicant.
For now, evaluate your hubby's points needed to make 67 points,Let him register for a new IELTS general test(Compulsorily because the current one can not fly).
Encourage him to strive to make minimum 6 band marks in all the four test (L,W,S&R) and he will be cool with the result.
In encouraging him and not to take any chances,if you can afford it,you can register also....for you,you don't need to score up to 6 band marks to donate your adaptability points of 5 marks to the family. With barely 4 band marks in all four tests, the five points is assured and guaranteed.
For now,let him register as soon as he can.If you don't have materials for practice, ask here on the forum leaving your email address,it will be forwarded to you.
I wish you the very best.
Cheers.

please i need the IELTS practice material. omozogie@yahoo.com, meta4ng@gmail.com

seunlovesa: I think of all the designated Bodies doing ECA, ICAS takes the longest time to complete. 8-10 weeks of waiting on "Q" before u get your COMPLETED application assessed. Nothing lost if you send your waec certificate and scratch card too.

quote author=bjayzeez]Loool.... 10 weeks tho. This thing takes forever. We. Still have another 30 month wait in Accra ain't it?

Anyways, could you post here some of the relevant docs. I've seen it a few posts backhttp://www.nairaland.com/1279130/canadian-federal-skilled-worker-program-timelines/1. I'm sure there would be a few additions .

Do I still need to submit my WAEC or spend my 12k (for courier) on the necessary chill pills ?

send in your WEAC and the scratch card, its important under ICAS.

Tnx Boss! FSW 2013/2014 never start? Why the delay sef? And they are projecting 2015 express in January. I just pray they speed up the processing. Accra office is just allotted 4 countries if I am not mistaken. I just wonder what can be the result of their snail-speed work.
i am on another group, the canadavisa group and there i've got about 3 people who got their PRV last week and about 4 the revious week, so the 2013 folks should be receiving good news emails from AVO soonest. keep hope alive.

technolee: You cannot apply with this result because you need a minimum score of 6 across the bands. If only you are sure of what you wrote during the test, you can apply for a re-mark. Try re-take the test if your NOC is not hot cake.

How do you apply for remark, how long does it take and whats the cost for remarking one skill?
