chuks404: He is a DMF, it's literally his job to delay transition once in a while. You can't play gongho for 90minutes, have you seen Busquets turning in the middle of the pitch before? A good DMF should know when to slow the ball down, you may not like it but it is what it is. It is left for Iwobi or whoever the pacesetter is in the team to request the ball from him and move it. 7 Likes |

Check the xg of those chances and you'll see that our xg for today's game was 0.4, against effing CAR! I repeat, against CAR we didn't get any clear chance, inshort statistically we shouldn't have even scored! Against CAR?? How can you defend this tactics exactly? 2 Likes |

12large1: Nothing and I repeat, absolutely nothing is wrong with this pool of players. Ighalo should be recalled because he is performing better Onuachu at club level never mind Oshimen? Or should Victor Moses be able to tie down a spot in....Bordeaux for example ahead of S. KALU? Again, the pool of players isn't the problem, inferior....no, subpar.....no, shitty tactics is the problem 5 Likes |

Kog45: Chief Sir Aren't you guys guys tired of watching Rohr's Super Eagles? I've seen people calling Oshimen, Awoniyi etc average players simply because the coach is messing up the team and it is affecting their own ratings, if I was a player, I wouldn't wouldn't accept any national team invitation from Rohr to be very honest, it is almost painful what I watched today, almost painful sha because, well, I expected it, no be Rohr again? But he has qualified us for a WC in the same group with Cameroon, Algeria and Zambia plus he beat Argentina in a friendly, so give the man a lifelong contract. 4 Likes |

12large1: Not necessarily sure we used all these excuses to defend Keshi back in the days, fact is, the blame rests squarely with the Coach, if you haven't been paid and you don't want to perform then resign and the pitch excuse, come on! We've played in worse before, not as if the nonsense long balls we were playing today even needed a good pitch anyways. First football match watched in exactly 18months and Rohr decided to bless me with this |

JohnBullMySon: If you watched the game you'd know that they too were unlucky not to score. This is Sierra Leone, don't turn them into freaking Algeria or Morocco! The last two nations cup we missed, we lost to Egypt and then to Guinea, considerably better team, but here we are struggling with Benin to top our group, and even worse struggling with Sierra Leone over two legs, effing Sierra Leone. If Egypt was in this group with Guinea, with this performance we would be third or worse. Make una no dey defend nonsense na, this is not even good for your mental health. 7 Likes |

busky007: We are getting somewhere slowly. Now remember that during the Afcon 2014, Keshi used to sub in Yobo during the ending minutes for that much needed leadership, for me I don't think Mikel is a leader, the leadership quality was down to Yobo and majorly Enyeama. That's for 2014. Now I have seen Ekong leading the back line during the Olympics game and Sia1 told him to be vocal and completely control the back line which he did fantastically, I recall him almost screaming Sincere's head off because he didn't return early. What's the point? The same Ekong all of a sudden lost all that leadership skill under Rohr, that means Rohr isn't telling him to take charge of the team. You don't just pick up and start shouting at your teammates the coach has to tell you to do that, so basically Rohr isn't emphasising that leadership skill in his players and that again is majorly on the coach as well. On the other hand some coaches even keep one slot open for their team leader, Yobo wasn't the best but he was needed for that leadership, why are we so quick to discard the older players with proper leadership skills and experience? If you don't have that in your team I honestly don't even mind inviting Onazi, just let him be there for times like this when we need a leader on the pitch and plug him in. See anything you point out still goes back to the coach, obviously some blame should go to the players but 80% should be going to the coach honestly. 5 Likes 1 Share |

busky007: Now let me explain to you how it is clearly his fault Sir. So he set up his team for the game and in the first half it was going well right? Lots of endeavour from the players, obviously you could see the players were trying and carrying out the coach's instructions true? Then the second half starts, the opposing team makes a few basic tweaks, what you did that worked in the first half was no longer working but because the coach has not changed your own tactics you have no choice but to continue doing it meaning that you, who looked like prime Zidane when the formation was working now looks like Bakayoko, what are you as the player supposed to do? Call your teammates and change the formation for the coach? Now the difference between this and the 7-2 for Liverpool for example is that from the word go, Liverpool players weren't up to it, you know they weren't performing, it wasn't even about the tactics. But in this case it is impossible to argue that someone who played out your tactics fantastically in the first half just decided to take a safari hike in the middle of the second half. 1 Like |

busky007: The basic hallmark of a decent coach is your ability to make in game changes. Granted the setup was decent, the Leone coach changed tactics in game and Rohr had absolutely no answer. It is shocking that our coach who earns millions of tax payers money got out coached by a poor local Sierra Leone coach wearing shorts and you are defending him. It is shocking. 7 Likes 1 Share |

busky007: I have not been watching football for a while but I am positive Ramon Azeez didn't turn into a pastor overnight. Besides I just explained to you how he could use even those that are on the bench, he basically failed, just leave it at that. I get you like the man, but blind loyalty isn't loyalty at all, say it as it is first and then maybe say he needs a second chance, but if you don't see how this is totally the coaches fault then bros, you probably haven't attended a coaching class before and I will disengage. Just patiently waiting for Icon4s who I know has some basic coaching certs let's see what he has to say because no offence, what you are saying is absolutely unintelligent, no offence. |

busky007: Bros, at 4-2 up, you could have subbed in Yobo self and it wouldn't be that. You just need defensive minded players. The Leone guys had no strategy basically, hoof it forward, win the first header and just move it over to the wings and somehow our coach left Etebo(5ft tall) against their long balls when we could easily shift Ajayi to DMF and just put any idiot in CB and we would hold them off comfortably, win the first balls and their game is gone. Like this is so basic it makes no sense 3 Likes 1 Share |

busky007: Then that means squad selection was terrible if you don't have a spare DMF. This was a very very simple substitution, even if you wanted to do like for like, sub out Aribo for another DMF who will plug the holes, chase the balls. You said he switched to a 3-5-2, why would you then sub in Ejuke? So basically he had three forwards Onuachu, Nacho and Ejuke, how is that even 3-5-2 in your dictionary bros? The dude did not play any 3-5-2 today so forget that first. When he subbed off Oshimen, Onuachu had no business in the game Na with Nacho already in the match, keep that sub slot open, probably put in Ejuke and move Nacho central, then save that Oshimen sub and put in a defensive midfielder or even at worse put in a CB and move Ajayi into DMF, he is terrible with the ball at his feet but he can win balls, we didn't win any single long ball, I mean ffs it was Etebo against one tall MF from SL. No matter how you look at it, there were countless options that would be better, wasn't it the other day that even Klopp subbed Salah for Milner against SHU? 3 Likes |

busky007: What is this guy saying? First of all, when you want to see out a game you are winning comfortably, you just need to bring on one DMF, I mean that's what Mikel used to do for Chelsea, bring him on and lock up shop, provide cover for your CBs and FBs while you can still counter, why the hell would you need to put two extra defenders? Besides it is not a matter of playing conservative football, it is basically Oga coach, your midfield has gassed out, nobody noticed Akpoguna in the first half because Etebo was covering and even Aribo was covering, he wasn't exposed, first goal he was exposed(from the highlights I just saw), even before thr first goal nobody was running in that midfield except Etebo, this isn't a case of conservatism, it is a basic case of making the right subs ffs, so because people asked for attacking football, you should blow a 4 goal lead because you want more goals? Nna eh. We lost this match not because of conservatism or attacking football, but simply because of extremely poor game management. 3 Likes |

busky007: Simple, you are tired and the coach doesn't know who and how to sub. For goodness sake these are players who have all played at least 6 games in the past two weeks, bros exercise overdose is a thing, these guys have passed their limits it was obvious. But the coach wants to sub in Onuachu and Ejuke to go and score when your midfielders can hardly lift their legs. True the players deserve blame but majorly the coach should be blamed for poor subs. How can you not see this?! |

I know I don't like Rohr but this is something else. A counterpart from Sierra Leone just called me that they scored two against Nigeria, tuned in and it was 4-3, I don't understand how Rohr thinks, your team's midfield has been nonexistent for all the twenty minutes I have been watching and somehow you don't think it makes sense to bring in fresh legs into the middle, nope, you sub in Onuachu instead. God how am I going to handle this shame Na 1 Like |
