Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Should I Go For A Job Of 150k In Epe L.G.A by mickey05: 8:13pm On Nov 16, 2021
I live (mostly from Monday to Friday) and work in Epe. I can tell you categorically that Epe is not bad at all. You will definitely spend less on rent (feel free to ask me about areas that are very good with good power supply), housing, feeding et al. In fact, Epe is the next best destination to buy and own property because of the three main roads that lead into and out of it (Ikorodu, Lekki and Ijebu Ode - the last of which was fixed recently and it takes just 10 minutes drive now from Epe to Ijebu and vice versal).

You can also pray about your next move but I can tell u that if you’re looking for a peaceful environment with less to spend, Epe is the place for you.

Health / Re: Help, My Newborn Has This Skin Problem by mickey05: 10:25pm On Jun 28, 2020
mandalorian:
Hello house, my boy is barely one month old and he developed this skin issue. One of my colleagues said it is Ela(Yoruba) but from my experience, ela use to manifest as very red tiny rashes around the neck and joints.

Now this one is not on his neck (though it is in both his elbow joints, scarcely on his Tommy and this morning I say it at the back of his knee), his skin molts around the rashes. I just can't completely describe it that's why I included the pics.

I need help elders in the house. I took him back to the hospital where he was born but they said it will go but I don't like the look.

Mods pls help me push to fp.

Simple, change his soap and body cream preferably to Sebamed (original)

Get sheer butter from Boluke Pharmacy: trust me, it works wonders.
Family / Re: How Do You Recover Money From A Dead Relative Bank Account? by mickey05: 5:24pm On Jul 03, 2019
You will need to obtain a Letter of Administration from the Probate Registry of the High Court of the State.

You will need a Lawyer to guide you.

Call 08033710590, I'll hook you up with someone whose fees are quite affordable.

Good day house

Decided to bring this here to seek other opinions as well especially from those who have had similar issues and how they resolved such or those who are versed in labor laws give advice.

OK. So I worked for this Nigerian owned FMCG located at lagos and was with them for some months. I was laid of sometime last year.

Before I left there were some months outstanding expenses I made yet to be paid.

My pension deductions which is supposed to be remmited monthly was not paid till date even though they were deducting monthly from my pay.(note they have my pension details as it was filled alongside my employment form) .

I learnt some staff who have been with them up to 3 years have also not been paid pensions deductions as well but coy has been taking from them.( Is there no law against this ?? )

It was also stated in my employment letter that I was to be paid a months salary in event THEY terminated my employment which they did.

Till date all this have not been paid. Its been one story or the other. Back and forth. And that they need approval or that it has not been approved etc.

I have returned all coy property in my custody and some funds customers owe me to be paid far less that what is owed me I have asked they deduct from my funds owed me and reimburse me the balance.

What's the way forward. Because as it is now I have been on the edge trying to make things work out for me again and I see no end in sight as they might not eventually pay me.

Shey na like this we go dey dey? Na so person go work and coys especially Nigerian owned go dey use employees like trash.

You would use your meagre salary to run expenses Luke fueling, transport etc but time to pay them go cut cut am like Sura the tailor angry .

They will say this is your route plan weekly and you must stick by it but are unwilling to pay incurred expenses

Personally I have vowed that if not a multinational coy I rather start up a small biz and grow my own.

abeg make Una help me push to front page because the is is a topic that affects a whole lot of employees in Nigeria today and am sure many are in same shoes and have lots to pour out here as well.

Let's share our experiences.

Well, that was in 2009 when the constitution had no provision for such.
We are in 2017 now,and the president/governor must not be incapacitated for 90days(3months),else their Deputies take over. #Welcome2Nigeria.
Since you seem to be a guru, kindly provide us with the relevant Constitutional provision supporting view.
Celebrities / Re: Kemi Olunloyo Blasts Governor Ambode For Arresting Pretty Mike by mickey05: 8:27am On Jan 13, 2017
Those criticizing the actions of the Lagos State Government via the Police to arrest "Pretty Mike" may like to check sections 134 and 136 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011 now Laws of Lagos State, 2015. And YES, the Law criminalizes certain offences against MORALITY.

Hi,

Legally speaking, the elements you will require to prove a case of Negligence against them are lacking in this case. For a successful proof of Negligence, you must establish the following:
1. Duty of Care
2. Breach of the duty of care
3. Damage incurred or suffered as a result of such breach.

From the above, you might find it hard proving the 3rd leg of the elements.

Moreover, to establish the case of Negligence in Nigerian Courts is a tall order.

However, you are not totally without a remedy as there are smarter ways to handle this with better results.

You can reach me on 08123585412 for more advise so we can talk better.

Cheers.
Religion / Re: Fashola Visits Site Of Collapsed Synagogue Church as Death Toll Hits 44 (PHOTOS) by mickey05: 9:41am On Sep 15, 2014
You need to know all the facts before you come on this forum to criticize anybody. Was it the fault of the Governor or any Government official that the Church failed to get an approval before commencing the building project? If you are to blame anybody, blame the Church (which is supposed to be God fearing) that refused to abide by the Law after commencing building without any permit whatsoever. You should appreciate the fact that it is virtually not easy for the Government know where any new building project is on-going. Yet these people break the law and you call for the head of the Government or its officials and when the Government, having served notices to people, embarks on a demolition exercise citing illegal development, you are the first to condemn the same Government for not having a human face when the law expressly provides that where your building collapses having not complied with the Law, such a property shall be acquired by the Government with no payment of compensation. Please see the Land Use Act for reference purposes. I am not pro-government or anti-people, the facts just needs to be put forward.
