Hi here is my interview in Germany today

vo: why are you going to the us?
me: summer vacation
vo:where?
me: miami, florida
vo: do you have relatives in the us?
me: no
vo: what do you do?
me: student
vo: what course?
me:.told... 'Masters'
vo: who is paying for your trip
me: me
vo: where do you work
me: part time work at abc
vo: how much you earn?
me: ...
vo: what do you do
me: ....
vo: do you have relatives in the us?
me: no
vo: how long have you been in germany?
me: 3 and a half years
vo:...all the while he was typing on the computer without really looking at me. Then he said further review was needed for my case and that they will mail my passport to me either with the visa or a letter explaining otherwise.
me: okay, is that all?
vo: yes
Me: okay...and i left...no document was checked and no slip was given

So experienced guys in the house, can you tell me what to expect and what kind of review they will do, how long does it take...anyone with similar experience?...btw, a little bit of background I was refused a back to back application in 2013, i wanted to attend a conference. then i was only a year in germany. currently, i live in Munich, the same city as the embassy, and graduating in few months from one of the best university in germany. I was in uk recently, visa still valid...i have also been to other 6 EU countries

'' maybe some discrepancies needed to be clarified''

I tend to agree with the discrepancy part, because students are not even suppose to work full time, there is a limit of 20 hours per week.
A lot have changed since the last application, I have changed city and switched university, maybe that is where the issue lies. BTW, can i request for my passport, if the administrative review is taking longer as I have to travel to Italy in 2 weeks?
any ideas?
