That is a code is pointing to WSS doesn't mean always means the sensor is faulty , the computer fault management always speak a generic language that implies checking the area which involves performing further test with special equipment around the area mentioned and not always literally the stuff mentioned directly .
You will need to a good tech that is good with troubleshooting to check and analysis the wheel speed sensor signal to make sense out of the issue.

From experience working with Benz, after fixing faults you are suppose to clear the fault off the memory, before problem disappears. If not problem will still be there as if you've never fixed it.

Yes sir. That I know and it has been a practice that whenever any mechanic works on my car especially electrical he must use his code reader to wipe off all DTC and I drive the car like a day or 2 to see if problem resurfaces.

Like I said before it's possible that you replaced the faulty SBC module with a dead module.
SBC modules have a life span, once they get to full circle they stop to work.
This was how benz engineers created them.
They are wear and tear item...expect to see many used ones in the unregulated Nigeria spare parts markets.
The only way out is to order a new SBC module(brand new)

There are technicians who will work on the module to get it to work again indefinitely but I don't recommend this practice, it's dangerous.
I am telling you this cos I know you will encounter them in your quest to fix ur car.
What they do is to manipulate the counter and make it to stop counting break circles.
This is dangerous in my opinion but some people think otherwise.
SBC problems is common in your model 03-06 I think.
I don't know anyone in Benin
Ask people around that drive same car.

Thanks sir. Yea I know it was programmed for 300000 brake press after that it goes hay wire but mine was fixed under warranty while the owner was still using it in d USA. Will ask around for those who drive my kind of car. Been kinda asking sef. Thanks once more.

I think you got a bad SBC to replace the faulty one in your vehicle.
SBC modules will fail with time....nothing can stop this from happening.
It's never a good practice to replace SBC module with a used one.
Also, check break light switch.
Ask people around that drives the same vehicle as yours for a good mechanic in Benin.
Please oo, your vehicle is: Break by wire: don't let any body without experience to touch it or be prepared to get another car.

Thanks so much for the input. Does it mean it's same sbc that is faulty? The brake light switch is in perfect condition because it was tested. Can I replace the pressure accumulator only cos I really do not know if it's d full sbc that is bad. Why does it reset itself wen you switch off ignition and switch back on again. Yea I know it's drive by wire and the brakes are so complicated. Fun to drive when working though. Do u have any contact in beniny pls?

Yea I have. The codes are pointing to oxygen sensor and vehicle speed sensor. I scanned the sbc and the only fault recorded was driver side wheel speed sensor which was replaced. May be I will rescan and revert. Thanks.

Hello all. Please I have a very serious issue with my w211 Mercedes. Imagine you are coasting with your ride and all of a sudden you are greeted with the brake defective stop vehicle sign on instrument cluster. That is the problem I'm having with my car and when this message show u have no brakes at all. Have replaced sbc twice and in less than a week it's back to square one.when u switch off the car and on it u have brakes again and in less than a minute drive the brakes are gone. Pls I'm in Benin. Can anyone recommend a good Benz mechanic to fix this issue? Guys pls help out. Na brake be car o. When the brakes work it's so flawless buy when the crase start you will get so tired. Pls advise according.
