NDDC has started sending out text messages and email to people that have been awarded the scholarship, anyone here got the text or email??

Who knows when NDDC are holding their next board meeting??

Any one got news or updated on the NDDC list ?seeing as they said everything would be concluded by the end of September. Everywhere is just dead silent

Please is there any one going to PH from Abuja for the exams??

My exam date is on the 6th, 11am.

i have no idea, this nddc people are the most confused in this life. i still want to see how they want to conduct this application process, exams and interview all before september.

I seriously wonder how nddc wants to advertise, conduct exams and conduct interview all before September. i hope they wont come and say the advert is against January next year ooo. we are already approaching the end of the month, 4 days left. sigh.

No it has not been scrapped, it just that we have thieves when are leading the board.
They take 10% for every payment they make in NDDC but for scholarship its not possible because its the only genuine thing NDDC does. Thats why it took them 1yr 8months to pay the first one. and now they have stayed in office going to 3 years without awarding scholarships. They will be sacked in july and the next board hopefully will bring it back.

if you are expecting the 2017 list and you have not re-validated your admission letter to September 2018. please do so as soon as you can.

Thanks for this update, we still have hope that the list would be out soon. another reason i believe the list would be out this month is, when the NDDC 2017 budget was approved in February this year, the were supposed to utilize it to sort out there projects and payments before April or send it back to the federal govt. but nddc appealed to the senate the they would need more time as the time given was not sufficient for the utilization of the funds and asked the time shuld be extended till the end of May which was granted. i believe the list would be out soon because the funds for NDDC scholarship is contained in their budget. lets be hopeful

I was at an NDDC state office today and I met with some official who told me that they will all be in PHC this week to sort out the scholarship issue. Lets still be hopeful guys.

4 days into May and still no word or sign from NDDC regarding the 2017 list... this is depressing. God help us who are still hopeful not to lose our minds. our country has failed us, our resources are been drained and we are left to rot in confusion and neglect

I suspect the list would be out in May, but that shouldn't be an excuse not to pay the 10k now . NDDC is just playing with us.

my bro don't lose hope yet. No matter how long it takes,2017 list will be released. The move to pay the transport stipend is a good indicator. If they wanted to cancell the process, they won't even bother to pay the stipends. Also check NDDC website, there is an article about including undergraduates in the scholarship process. In that article, the MD stated categorically that the process of selection will be concluded by May. At the risk of sounding like an NDDC spokesperson, I suspect that the delay in passing the budget has caused some setback for them. That said, Nigeria has become so corrupt that, you can not really say when a government agency is facing genuine challenges and when government officials are delaying a process because the money meant for that process has been warehoused in fixed deposit accounts to yeild interest for certain government officials. However, I am confident that 2017 list will not be scrapped, because outside contract awards, the next big thing in NDDC is the scholarship list. So from the chairman to the typist, they are all interested in that list. The list will not be cancelled, only pray that your name should be on the list. Even me, I'm calling on my God daily. If you are averse to prayers,pls feel free to call on your ancestors or better still,call on your juju.The important thing is the award letter,guy 30 thousand dollars can sure change your life for good.

This forum is so quite, everyone that was pushing for the 2017 list has taken off. very few people still here have hope. please anyone with any news or information about the list let us know because the little hope i have is fading away. the transportation stipend is not really the issue but the list is.
