what's up with OANDO, this sudden jump to 9.8%? Any story behind that? |

Coolcash1:Why is Diamond a good buy at the moment? I am considering it , but will be buying at about a year high price. I normally hate to do that. Whats the price prospect in view of the takeover. Just want opinions please. |

House, what shall I buy today o! Criteria; High liquidity, good short term prospect (weeks/months). Your highly esteemed ideas are needed. Of course, I take responsibility for my decisions. |

Is there any logical reason why OANDO is on bid? None that I know of. Any other idea? |

yok:What does anyone think of OANDO, sell or sit tight? |

Please is there any news on WEMA. I am just reviewing the da chart and noticed a sudden upswing of 8% (from negative) to todays closing of 0.95. Is there a news accounting for this reaction. Thanks in advance. |

Hello everyone, I have been off the radar for a couple of weeks. Any idea of time frame when Trancorp will release results? Thank you. |

OBAGADAFFI:House, abeg, any opinion if Skye is a good short/medium term buy? |

Jejebaba:Answer copied from VAIDS website FAQ: What about assets that are owned in jurisdictions where there is no tax payable? The use of Tax Avoidance Schemes is legal but tax evasion is not. If the ultimate beneficial owner of those assets had paid all taxes on the funds prior to their transfer to the tax shelter, then there will be no additional liability except any tax payable on further income earned on those funds. However if the correct amount of tax was not paid prior to transfer, then a liability exists and Government is entitled to trace its tax claim through to those assets and any income that arises from them. |

Agbalowomeri:For those who trade stock, no problem as long as the initial /additional fund poured into stock is already taxed, remember that your share sale is already taxed. For those that import fund from abroad (like me), no problem as long as your source of fund is already taxed in your country of residence. However, if you are resident in Nigeria and your income is from abroad, then you need to explain or pay tax to Nigeria on the initial fund. 2 Likes |

I see opportunity to buy...only when this bear finish growing bear bear. My sight on access and Transcorp. House, any thought on these? I jumped out of Transcorp last week with 70% profit, it made me smile, maybe I can reload after it has shed some weight, but something tells me that access may shoot up someday soon. I am trading with my money, so I can wait a bit if I buy in. I will like your recommendations. Of course I know I am trading at my own risk 2 Likes |

Na wah oh! People just dey sit on the fence with their money. Low volume trade so far. |

Parisfran:Look at the graph again, how is this not correlating? The percentage rise and fall is only different, but the trend is mostly in same direction. 1 Like |

House, do you think Access is a good buy at today's price. Thinking of diving into it. Or make I wait small? Please your brother need answer urgently. |

Some are still hell-bent on buying OANDO, see heavy bid. Do they know what we don't? I am a fixed investor for past months, but if I was not in, I won't enter at this stage. |

Elders, abeg, roughly when do we expect Transcorp results? Jumped out of the boat on Tuesday, it made me smile big time. Wants to time my next move. Caution; its highly volatile, one needs a long spoon and avoidance of greed with certain NSE stocks 2 Likes |

sellydion:what bad news? Am wondering why there is a 66m bid on it today with no one selling. Any other info apart from the usual nonsense from Tinubu? declaration; I have some shares |

I still struggle to understand why access seem reluctant to zoom off, anyway, maybe the bus is waiting for me when I drop off Trancorp at my bus stop. *not a recommendation* |

206 million shares traded on transcorp and only dropping 1.6% when I expected a huge retracement! Am cancelling my short term jump out order. I suspect it will pull another set of huge bull even from Monday. 1 Like |

Thank you bro, of course I will jump back. If I am not able to sell at a reasonable price tomorrow morning, I will leave it. If I sell, I will be back within days. locodemy: |

my people, am heavy on transcorp, should I sell and wait for retracement? Hmm, itchy finger...or am I being too greedy! |

zap away or not, just remember to invest in Nigeria. It is the place to invest. Typical emerging economy with increasing middle class, especially with a population nearing 200m. That can only result in increased transaction and boom in economy when managed well. Whichever way, our NSE na Baba. I am not in naija, but believe it, I am one this forum daily (though I do not often contribute...sorry guys, just shy). I do not invest kobo in the country I am, but in Nigeria. I understand NSE better than oyinbo exchange, and nobody tax me 20-40% of my profit. Plus I cannot make a third of what am making on NSE over here. Investnow2017: 3 Likes |

drnelson: Fake Dr Nelson, you don’t even sound intelligent like someone who should be trading stocks. Anyway, we need someone like you to pump in imaginary 1bn so some of us can make profit. Many Lagos agberos have better manners than you, meanwhile, your interesting use of abbreviations makes me think you are probably a teenager who missed road unto this forum. 10 Likes |

drnelson: This is not an acceptable response. You asked for opinion, someone gave a response. You then responded with insults and curses. I think you should apologize. Not cool at all. 3 Likes |
