Hello guys what's happening? Hmmmm alot of shock going round but it's not over until it is over, although this is the only list for the selection board. All I can say at this point is ' see you guys on the other side'.
Wildone, ladies have always not had equal advantage with the guys, over all its like 1 Lady to 10 guys and it's not just NAF. Lord help us all.

You guys know what? Let people be. If there are 10 NAF whatsapp groups out there, good for them. No one was forced to be on this thread and no one can be forced to stay, it is not the alpha and omega when it comes to info about the app. Some people are not in any group or on any thread, yet they get things done. So for those of us who feel it's better to be here and share what we know, let's just stick to it and God help us all. Getting angry or pissed won't change anything, what will be will be. We all own our phones and pay for our Subs, we can use it anyhow we deem fit.

Hopefully it will be easy, they may tell him to go to The state education board as they are the ones who issue it. I believe it won't be an issue, the earlier the better.

Okay,thanks.
Pls,do you think its still possible for 2016 batch A to train with 2015 batch B.Since 2015 batch B will resume 10th july.
Thanks always.
My dear, unless NAF will decide to change resumption date for batch B, it most likely won't be possible as it will take at least one month for them to screen and produce a final list. Or if they decide to have you guys train along side each other but with them one month or so ahead but that would be hectic for them.

NB:NAF is yet to reply a mail i sent concerning this.

Graçias.
All i have heard is it will be starting 10th july, nothing else.

To be honest I haven't asked but I believe it if it were true you would have been contacted you or it would have been on the site. They didn't do any of those before the 8th because they were not ready for you guys and people had to take chance in order not to miss. Infact you are the only one who has mentioned it that I know of.

pls brothers y u guys dmanding for dssc past questions wen u guys arent sure of
1. making d nxt list
2. if they wud b exams or straight to interview
1. They ask for it coz if they make it they won't be off be caught off guard, if they don't make it, no knowledge is wasted as they could attend other job screenings that will require tests as such.
2. It has already been established that the zonal enlistment stage has come and gone without an exam, nobody is expecting just an exam. The exam we must prepare for is the one that usually happens at the selection board which is similar to the test being sat for during the zonal enlistment, this is different from the board interview.

My brother if Corpers can go to camp on the 13th and pass out on the 3rd or so all within the Ramadan season, NAF won't even consider it.

Mimzy pls help confirm if the airmen/airwomen resumed for the selection board at kaduna today.Thanks.
Nothing is happening at the Base at the moment and it will most likely not start today . You will be communicated to in due time, thats what I was told. As at last week I heard they were trying to see if you guys will use the NYSC camp and come to the base for medicals ( because of the population) but as it is now Batch A stream 2 is to resume camp on Monday so that plan won't work out. Just stay calm they will inform you all on what to do soon. Unfortunately people have arrived From other states and are stranded coz of the communication breakdown.

Meaning:

1. DSSC applicant may indeed resume with airmen and Airwomen. Or;

2. NAF organization is as poor as ever.
I will No to 1. Because right now NAF doesn't know where to put them for the Selection board, they are too many, accommodation is a challenge even as they are in batches so to call DSSC to join them will be adding fuel to fire unless they have an alternative venue that can accommodate all.

All is well over here. My dear from what officers at GTC here is kaduna are saying, that increase in intake for DSSC is imaginary but time will tell, Anything can happen.

So, what does that Science means? If your answer is those from Science class during WAEC or NECO - then what about those from Art or Commercial classes? Note: I'm not arguing!
my dear no matter how much you want to prove it is strictly a tradesmen list here, the fact still remains that the list contains both tradesmen and non tradesmen, believe or not. You either accept it or let it go, its simple.

But it confused me. If the list really contains Non-Trades, then why they put them all under the Trades category. I think NAF only shortlisted those with NCE, ND or Trade Cert in relevant fields.
if you think so ask yourself why some people had, ND lab tech, Apprenticeship cert in masonery etc against their names and others just science or so. Is science alone a trade? They just decided to do it that way, previously all you will see in that column was either Trades or non trades.

Goooooooooooooood! Baba u too much!
Help me thank God o,my name was out for the selection board interview(BMTC).
But i av a few questions to ask pls.

1. why does d list av only trade without non-trade.

2. is dat for non-trade going to be out separately?

3. the number is high in my view(110),for each state, why?

4 Any idea abt the number dat would be chosen at d selection board interview?

5. WHY did NAF use their main site and not d recruitment website which normally shuld av been used.

This year's recruitment is diff in many ways. Why?
Thanks in advance for d response.

cc: mimzy
The list has both tradesmen and non tradesmen, that's why science etc is against some names. It states their area of study in sec school.
The number is high coz intake has been increased. From what I hear divide that number by 3 and you will have a very close figure to what you will get on the final list.
NAF is not alone on having a recruitment site and it's official site. The same thing happened with NN and it is happening with NA too.
Congrats and best of luck.

But Teddy what I don't get is all the shut up and move on in your reply. If she said you were throwing shades, you could have simply said ' if I wanted to throw shades I would do it directly to the person i was referring to' and that ends it, instead of taking an aggressive approach. And from what I read her statement didn't imply she meant you were talking to her. Instead of all the insults flying which is not healthy, you guys should relax.

Hotkaycee the thread is not dead o, this is what happens when people have nothing more (or think they have nothing more)to discuss.
By the time the Nigerian Air Force releases the list the story will change. I think the best thing is to give peeps room to continue while we get ourselves ready and watch from a distance until the time comes.

"I don't run and i don't have strength but my name will be there " were the words of my friend at the 2013 selection board. 26 minute after the race he was not back and i was looking for him. Lo and behold i found him among those that were not documented. But his name was number 3 on the final list. Among the nine selected from my state, only 4 of them beat the race. The race add fun to the selection board and is not very important to DSSC. My observation o
Franksunny what's up? My dear the race is very important, I say so because obviously your friend knew what he was into before making that statement. For those of us looking up to God for favour, one can't be so casual about it because you must do your best and impress so you can have a smooth sail . When God wants to favour you no man can stand and say he/ she failed the race . Nothing should speak against you and this will bring favour even in the sight of men who don't know you.
