Since when have we been talking about Chams here and it didn't leave circa 21/23k?
What about Lasaco? Since 2021! It even dip from post-reconstruction price of N1.68 to 0.81k!
What of Mansard?
What of Japaul? And many others like that.

Was I not talking about GTCO, DANGCEM, BUAFOODS, BUACEM, etc as well?

BUAFOODS was selling at N73 when I sighted value in it and I mentioned it here. Did it begin its Northwards journey immediately? NO! But today, it's close to 💯% in profit.

What of Fidelity? Since it was trading @1.66k, I've been on it's case....and many others like that.

My reason for buying UNITY was well stated here as well. I still have it for your info despite that it's shedding.
So, I know it will shed and I still kept it or I'm monkey hunting it and still kept it till now??

While I'm not saying we shouldn't caution, we should still be cautious of blaming when things goes South as well.
We all know how this market works, even the most "useless" stocks by our definition, may turn out to be the best rewarder in terms of performance.....Meyer, Dangflour, CWG, etc are ready examples.

I have benefitted immensely from your stock advice. I have made 118% of portfolio. Some stock may not be on ones radar but once mentioned everyone should do their due diligence. You have made this forum rich and deepened the discussions. I am one of those grateful. Please ignore the name callings. Everyone should be responsible for his or her actions. You should bear no guilt or responsibility for any loss by any member.

So we bought this fish yesterday but we don't know the name.

Any ideas?
This is the African Lung fish. It's called Mai mama in Hausa language, it usually stays in muddy water. It has cartilages instead of bones.

The corporate action document is not straightforward.
They declared final dividends as interim dividends.
I don't understand the stuff.
Please note final dividend can only be paid after AGM and approval of the share holders. As Accesscorp is a new entity, they have declared an interim dividend which only require board approval.

In law there is a time limit to seek redress ( status bar) . If after 3 year you failed to institute a sued and no new fresh findings or revelations were made, the courts can't entertain such cases.

The government has refused to proscute the captured insurgent or proscute or name their sponsor even when a foreign country has given their names. The government nepotic and tribalistic stands wont appoint competent hand or deal a blow to the insurgents because they are from certain part of the country. If its from another part operaton snake dance would have wipe BH off the surface of the earth.
Politics / Re: Akande: Buhari Promised To Pick Tinubu As Running Mate In 2015, Then Reneged by MishdaFish: 6:53am On Dec 11, 2021
Buhari has always renege on his promises. He is not a man of his word and should not be trusted. He did promises to fight corruption, strengthen naira, cut medical tourism and revamp our refineries. Alas! He instead is prospecting for oil in the north, building railway for another country and dealing a blow to Nigerias economy deliberately.

It's now obvious that the NIN linkage to phone number mandated by NCC was an effort in futility. I thought that was meant to trace calls and identify the bandit when they call to negotiate? Not a security expert but I can't see how shutting down th network would help secure the place.

The Customs and immigrations who are in charge of the borders are left out of the team. This government is bereft of ideas! The one year border closure was a case in point to prove this.

Yes you have to. Every stock you buy needs it's dividend mandate if you bought it for dividend purpose. Though for same registrar you have the option of ticking off particular stocks you are interested in on a single form
Yes you need to mandate each company share. It is easier now as you donot have to visit any bank. It can be done online @

Good day comrades! Pardon my greed! I entered 11 plc when i learnt of their plan to delist from NSE ( i was hoping for a juicy offer). I was expecting the terms of delisting to be spelt out before shareholders could vote to approve the delisting. Are there laid down procedures for delisting ? Is the Book Value of an equity part of the consideration for determing the exit price when a company is delisting? Thank you in advance for you contributions

@all, Morgan capital sent a message that you need to complete the KYC on or before 30th June 2020, scan and send back to them.

Edited!

CSL Stockbroker sent a similar message earlier. It's a regulatory requirement I understand.
I wish to ask EXPERTs in the house why SEC would NOT allow a single mandate form for dividend to be submitted to brokers and CSCS for ALL transaction associated with a particular CLEARING HOUSE NO.(CHN). Why do we need to fill mandate for every sale or purchase of a new company?

Thanks for yesterday's response. After typing my name and surname ,it brought my details,i then try my late father's name and saw his own too. How can i claim my father's dividend. I only have his death certificate. I could not get the share certificate. Number 2,please i've downloaded the e-dividend form, what document should i take along to my bank as the registrar's address is very far from where i'm staying?

Good day, to your first question,
Are you the next of kin of the deceased? If you are, then you need lawyer to do a transmission of shares through a probate registry( this happens when the shares of a deceased shareholder are inherited or bequeathed to an heir or personal representative of the deceased shareholder. It takes place in case of death or insanity) I don't know the charges but claiming a deceased share is not so easy.
For your second question, you liase with your broker since the Certificate was not dematerialized( conversion from paper to electronic balance). Just provide your broker with the share holder's account details he would process all these for a fee.

Please,i lost my share certificate but have the receipt i used to purchase the shares. Now,their stockbroker are asking me to provide shareholder's account number on share certificate which i cannot remember because i used the account last about twelve years ago. Please what can i do? Please i need an answer asap
I think you can approach the registrars of the company they would have such detail. Or I believe you have gotten dividend by mail before? The share holder's account number is on the dividend warrant if you still have any.
Find below the Sec site for unclaimed dividend if you had any, type ur name in the place provided, the account number is the first column. https://sec.gov.ng/non-mandated/ hope you find this helpful
