Pls I need help on this credit card issue. I have been trying to get one but was turned down by my bank. I tried American express but I was also turned down. I do know how to go about it. I have a full time job, lived in an address for more than a year.

I have not lived up to 3yrs in the UK and I have no direct debits on my bank account. My credit rating according to my bank app is 586.

The response from American Express was this:

1. It depends on your school, what does your school require? Ask the Nigerian representative. If you do not have anyone to ask, you may have to keep the money in you account for 28days.
2. You can use the same statement in as much as it has all the POF you need.

When you apply for UBA prepaid card, ensure you request that the bank increase your limit, because the actual limit is 2500 dollars in 24hrs. I am saying this from experience. Please be informed that the card is a Dollar prepaid card, you will sort for Aboki's dollars and pay into the account before usage.

I have read post above that that the limit for the naira card 5000 dollars. If this is true, 2084.22 should be within the limit
