Fashion / ''Reflet De Lumière'': Optical Illusion By Vlisco by MissyB1(m): 3:06pm On Aug 02, 2010 |
''We'' are filled with immense excitement whenever a new Vlisco collection is unveiled. The new collection from Vlisco – Reflet de Lumière has just been released and we are tempted so say that this one is our favourite of the year thus far. While the first collection of the year, Tableau Vivant was very traditional, the second; Sparkling Grace was thoroughly modern and vibrant. The new collection, Reflet de Lumière is mysterious, sophisticated and dare we say, sensual. Vlisco also experiments with fabrics for this season by incorporating chiffon into this collection. Vlisco takes colour to a higher level, bringing it to life with the new ‘Reflet de Lumière‘ fabric collection. The collection elucidates the disparity between silhouettes and movement with a colourful blurring effect. The designs create a surreal sense of structural forms, an illusion of architectural dimensions. This sensation is enhanced by the visual effect of morphing created by the interaction between shadows and the aura of coloured lights, merging to produce a graphical collection of unique fabrics. |

As much as I think any and every individual should be allowed the freedom of spending his money as he pleases, I see reasons with this post. EzeUche22: Of what use is this cake going to be? Celebrate what? I ditto the last 2 lines - Build some houses for the poor, feed the poor, invest in infrastructure etc. That would be a nice present for Nigeria. |

Anatha example - If 10 psychopaths say You're insane and 1 psychiatrist says You're aiight, You'D believe the majority? Here's Smeagol . . . I shouldn't dignify a thread like with a response but I'D like to show you that I find pleasure in feeding people with their nonsense. We'll see who's the slowpoke, by the time we're done dealing with the issue. 9hmo:One of the keys to your heart, to the heart of Nigerian men or to the heart of men in general? If your answer happens to be option 'B' or 'C' . . .You mean ALL men, by all means, like submissive women? Seriously? Need I provide at least, a link to a thread launched by a man, expressing his dislike for women who are - according to your definition- submissive? 9hmo:If his will is to come back home drunk every night after being with several women, I should kneel, bow and say ''May your will be done''? and that's a key to marital bliss? I admire your intelligence. . . . You really should be a marriage counselor, you'D do many homes good. 9hmo:Is this dude sane? How does one transmute his desire to be that of another person? Trivial example - If my husband wants apple and i want banana, i can, for his sake or whatever reason, decide to eat apple with him but that doesn't mean i want apple. . . . my desire remains banana. Gerrit? 9hmo: Again, need I provide at least one thread to prove this belief wrong - as that's the closest substantial proof of the falsity of your weak notions-? Your other points are ignored because they are too nonsensical to deserve a reply. |

Freiburger:I really don't care about others' opinion unless I need to. I state mine and waka ahead and I expect them to do same. It's a pity if mine don't always correspond with theirs. Freiburger:Apology accepted. . . .and No, Missy can't be intimidated by anyone's presence or comment. I just stated what I noticed but, no qualms. We're cool. aieromon:No one says You can't blow your nose. Just excuse yourself and do it where no one can see/hear you. |

Nairaland / General / Re: What Is The Difference Between Wisdom And Knowledge by MissyB1(m): 4:26pm On Jul 31, 2010 |
I have thought of this, sometime in the past. Just like I've tried to differentiate Knowledge from intelligence. I'D say - Knowledge is having facts; actively knowing something. Wisdom is knowing how to use knowledge and put it to efficient use. |
