They're still there. Igala people gave it to Dino. He got most of his votes from them, being the largest ethnic group in the state. Only Okun people couldn't have got him the ticket. It would have been the Okun's turn now, had Abubakar Sudu not died cos his running mate would have succeeded him. The reassurance came during Bello's reelection bid , Smart Adeyemi, Yahaya Bello's deputy, Onoja said okun would be considered, should they support bello when the people said he did nothing in their region and bello had failed woefully, generally.

You are a liar. Igala people I know will not vote any candidate aside their tribe. Maybe just few from Igala could possibly gave him vote. How can 5 candidates from Igala against a candidate from another region participate in primary and you think the former will win.

Bello was foolish(apology) for presenting an Ebira man as candidate of the APC. Remember, he himself became a governor with the help of Oyegun and the cabals who were against Asiwaju Tinubu, because if INEC had declared the results of the elections before Audu's death was announced, Faleke would have been governor but the cabals influenced and delayed the result so that another candidate in this case Bello, who indirectly worked against Audu in the elections, will be presented by the party and deny Faleke the opportunity of becoming governor.
Now the cabals will be gone by May 29, and Oyegun is gone, so Bello might not get the Federal might he's expecting and if the PDP presents a formidable candidate, be and Igala or Okun, APC will surely lose Kogi.

Mind you, Kogi state has about 5k polling units and Igala alone has about 3k of the polling units.

These are just words of consolation. My brother this is politics, me and you know how it works now. Except you are not ready to tell yourself the truth. Majority of Igalas sees Lokoja as their base because they refuse to develop their town,too local and inhabitable for them to leave, hence they see Lokoja as their retirement base. That's why it looks have the population you could see in Lokoja. Take for example,an Ebira man is comfortable doing business in Okene and still make it because of rate of development there. But if you are in Igala land and embarking on any business, you are on your own.

I still maintain my initial stand that Igala is not the majority tribe in Kogi State. Igala is only fortunate to have big-for-nothing land mask. This is what made them to have nine LGA.
