TV/Movies / Re: Offline Downloading Or "fishing" by miyamaya: 1:28pm On Jul 02, 2008
I have been following from the time Dvdguy started the fishing topic. I have been around the forums on FTA and i have posted/quested a few times on nairaland though I got my answers from other forums. Keep up this new hobby be course its the next future. You can do away over loading the companies internet trying to download the latest movies or songs. Do it at the safe place your home by data grabing with the dish.

The decoder Mr justx24 is talking about can not do the fishing because it does not have the software (FileGraber,Skynet or Mana ) to do the trick. Who knows a modified model might be out as i write now that will grab.

Please for those interested, this site will help. _www.maldiviandigital.com/forum20/thread6270.html.

Hello enigma and the others - I read this forum almost very day. Am interested in C band. I have a 1.8 meter dish and I want to put 2 c-band LNB to it so as to catch 68.5 and 64. Am happy that after three days of internet searching your forum has yet again answered my questions. kindly post pic on how you put the 2 band lnb on the 1.8 dish. ! believe in doing it myself just like l learn t the first time have since installed for three people and all because for you people out there. Again am in Zambia and wish my fellow Zambians to join in.

According to DSTV's website, TV Globo on Sesat is on a beam that does not ordinarily cover Nigeria though one never knows if a very large dish would do it. Also it is on Intelsat 7 but in C Band which again will require a large dish.

See the link below and place your cursor on the beam information to the left of the map of Africa.

Edited: however, TV Globo is also on Hispasat 30w (though encrypted); I think pitodenz may be able to advise if you can receive Hispasat in Port Harcourt. (Also, occasionally the keys for TV Globo on Hispasat and on Hotbird get known, though they don't last for long; if you want to subscribe to that one it will be through TV Cabo in Portugal - google it)

Hello, am new here but have spent enough time to go through all the postings. I could like to known how many satellites apart from intelsat 7/10 @65.5 E can I receive. I have a strong receiver 4652. This is my new hobby and was able to install the dish (90cm) first time. Am also interested to know more about the LNBS with Ku/C band together. What does a patch do? Keep it up this is one forum i have enjoyed.
