Guys the problem of the nigerian image abroad is really that bad.
I think alot of people on this forum may have travelled abroad but that is not the same as living there.
Believe me within very respectable organisations abroad I have over heard refrences to nigeria as being a coloney of thives.
I just returned from nigeria a few days ago and honestly nigerian's just don't get it. Alot of you just slam people regarding their comments
and yet you really do not know what you are talkind about. Rebranding nigeria  forget that.
You all keep praying to God to help. Ask yourself. Why should he? You live in a country where a father gives money to his child to go and 'block' his way through school and on graduation organise a big party for him/her and then goes to church to do thanks giving.
You have to do your bit for God to help. God is not in the business of giving freebes.
I laughed when I read people saying nigeria should sue sony. (have they lied) It may not be nice but that is the perception of nigerians overseas.
Nigeria is not the giant of Africa, and I doubt it has ever being. I think this word was just adopted by the founding fathers to create a sense of hope and objectivity to Nigerians who seek it. It is a giant with a small prick.
We are blessed. yes. but what use is it to be blessed and not know what to do with your blessing.
The oyinbo man steals from other countries and not from their home. They do not loot their treasury like we do.
This is history repeating itself. Remember the slavery days, The oyinbo man looted out lands and we helped them do it.
There is no will in the country to tackle the problems. Forget the government. What are you doing. You have to co oporate before someone can treat you as doormat
